Flames are killing Avs

6-1 Flames @ Colorado. This is brutal! This team obviously needs Forsberg back.

Hope the Flames wore them out a bit for tomorrow night's game in Vancouver.

Sauve has looked awful. I just can't see them heading into the playoffs with this kid. The team is just significantly worse when he's in net.

7-1.

Saprykin walks out untouched and scores.

The Avs should grab McLennan from the Rangers... If Noodles was healthy that is. Or maybe Byron Dafoe to back up Aebischer.

Colorado isn't good at home though, although Sauve may wish to be back in Hershey after this game.

hey avs, here's a hot one for y'all

TO MINNESOTA: Johnny Boychuk
TO COLORADO: Manny Fernandez and Antti Laaksonen

Fernandez's resume: beat avs in the playoffs and a great backup goalie with experience
Laaksonen's resume: surefire 30 point scorer who is great defensively and quick on the PK

Projected Avs Roster

Tanguay - Forsberg - Hejduk
Kariya - Sakic - Selanne
Konowalchuk - Nikolishin - Worrell
Laaksonen - Hahl - Hinote

Blake - Foote
Morris - Boughner
Liles - Skrastin
Sauer

Aebisher
Fernandez

Just an ugly ugly game. Sauve is horrible. At least Worrell got his licks in on Oliwa.

Granato has got to go, he is clueless behind the bench.

Now, I didn't watch the game, only listened, but was Sauve really that bad or was the whole Avs bad or were the Flames just really good?

Oliwa has now become one of my most hated players. I wish Worrell would have a broken his face. Taunting a bench after a completely meaningless goal is one of the most unsportsmanlike thing ever (even if it was a meaningful goal it shouldn't happen). Also Lacroix you can't get a backup fast enough.

All 3. Some goals were Sauve's, some were Colorado's fault, others were great plays.

So is cowardly jumping a guy from behind. Both plays were pretty unsporstmanlike.

Buahahaha!

Oliwa invited Mr. Worrel early in the game, but Worrel stayed away (like he has always done against Oliwa this year). Oliwa scored a goal and made a mockery of Worrel by showboating in front of him so Worrel having no other choice just blindsided Oliwa the first chance he got. Any other HONORABLE enforcer would just sqare off.

Yeah because Oliwa is Mr.Honor after taunting a bench after scoring the sixth goal in a 7 - 1 game. Or when he punched Worrell in the face when there was a ref standing inbetween both of them, I wish all players would be that honorable. Also you seem to have selective memory because Worrell also called Oliwa on at the start of the game because I remember the broadcasters saying that Oliwa is smarter than that in a close game. Oliwa didn't make a mockery of Worrell when he taunted the bench he made a mockery of the game.

Oliwa should have NEVER taunted the Avalanche bench. That was bush league.
Worrel should have NEVER jumped Oliwa like that. That was also bush league.

The Avalanche played terrible today. Calgary played excellent today. Suave wasn't great, but Calgary dominated that game.

I really believe Quenneville could do wonders with this Avalanche club. Did anybody see that 5 min PP that turned into a 7 minute one because Granato was asleep on the bench? Brutal.
