The only way for the Sharks to win tonight, is to train in Siberia for at least 6 weeks. Through the power of the montage, I believe they can show 6 weeks passing in just a few short minutes.

Should they complete the siberian training, my new prediction is this.

Sharks 4-3 Red Wings

Goals by Patty, Boyle, Clowe, Setoguchi

Red Wings goals by Datsyuk, Hossa, and Holmstrom

WE'RE GONNA NEED A MONTAGE!

Ozzy is in net, so I'm really scared.

Hopefully Nabs is in net for you guys, then we can see a real 9-8 game.

That’s when you need to put yourself to the test,
And show us a passage of time,
We're gonna need a montage (montage)
Oh it takes a montage (montage)

Show a lot of things happing at once,
Remind everyone of what’s going on (what’s going on?)
And with every shot you show a little improvement
To show it all would take too long
That’s called a montage (montage)
Oh we want montage (montage)

And anything that we want to go from just a beginner to a pro,
You need a montage (montage)
Even Rocky had a montage (montage)

(Montage…montage)

Anything that we want to go from just a beginner to a pro,
You need a montage (montage)
Oh it takes a montage (montage)

Always fade out in a montage,
If you fade out, it seem like more time
Has passed in a montage,
Montage

Talk about setting yourself up to be disappointed. I think a rout of the Wings is pretty unlikely, esp. with Blake, Luko, Mitchell and Roenick out.

I'd be happy w/ a really hard fought, well-played game but am sensing a Wings win.

Ya'll was teaching me yesterday why C.Lemieux shouldn't be playing, not just yet that is. And I was treally listening and agreeing too on some points.
But now as I'm thinking bout this war... I'm amazed that C.Lemieux ain't with us. I mean we got injuries and Semenov is playing as a d-man. We could have tried the C-Man with guys like Grier and Goc for example. Or with some others...

One thang I GUARANTEE, you wish we had Lemieux in the lineup tonight. He would change certain thangs on the ice. It's amazing... Osgood, Draper, Maltby and these guys were playing against this man in the 90's..... just wow. He should be playing with us tonight. Knocking muthas out while playing.

Mommy, How come all these superstars like Datsyuk, Kopitar and Ovechkin are so good looking?? Are they using some medication that makes them so great? Or have they used something daddy?
I was watching this old sports documentary, and they was showing how all those west-german women and men used something that made them so strong. Mommy... they was looking weird.

WIN WIN WIN!!! I dont care how, just ****en get 2pts tonight!!!

The Flamer game the other night was the only loss this season were I was legitimately PISSED OFF at the outcome, cursing at players, ref's, the media.. I was pretty irate to say the least. However, considering we're just past the half way mark before I’ve lost my temper with the sharks says a lot about this team IMO. Tonight’s game is a MUST win scenario for sure.. We Know It!! They Know It!!

Unfortunately, Nabby's knees start to shake every time we face Detroit.

Sharks need to prove they are Cup contenders, if we lose, we show to everyone else how un-intimidating we are in a best of 7, because I can guarantee you, right now we wouldn't win a best of 7 against Columbus, Calgary, Edmonton, Minnesota, and especially Detroit.

Sharks need to absoulutely slaughter the Red Wings tonight.
Are you serious? If so, wow.

The Sharks wouldn't take down Columbus, Minnesota, or Edmonton? That is beyond funny. The Sharks would take down all 3 of those teams in 6 games or less.

I can understand the doubt surrounding beating Calgary or Detroit though. Calgary because they have our number and Detroit because well they are Detroit.

god I'm so sick of tv analysts jocking the Red Wings.

Sportsnet in Canada is previewing the matchup and it's all "oooh look at Detroit, they shook the cup hangover, they're so awesome, blah, blah blah."

No disrespect to Detroit, who's a damn good team, but the Sharks are still for the moment the better one. But everyone poo-poos and ho-hums the Sharks record because "it doesn't mean anything until the playoffs", and yet somehow we're supposed to be amazed that the Red Wings are so good. Either no one's reg. season record means a thing until the playoffs, or respect all teams for what they've accomplished to this point.

Snog: 3-2 Sharks
Goals: Marleau, Cheech and Boyle

Sharks are either gonna take this opportunity to prove they can compete in the playoffs when banged up or their gonna fold like a cheap tent at the first sign of adversity during the game and chock it up to the dogs days of mid season.

I'll be there to see which team shows up.

If we is winning this one, it's dedicated to you. For real.
