4Montreal Canadiens @ 13Ottawa Senators: 7:00 PM - CBC, RDS, NHL-N

7:00 PM - CBC, RDS

Head-to-Head Comparison
Goals For:
Montreal 130 (12th), Ottawa 100 (30th)
Goals Against:
Montreal 110 (5th), Ottawa 119 (11th)
Records (Away/Home)
Montreal 11-7-2 (Away), Ottawa 10-7-3 (Home)
Power Play:
Montreal: 15.7% [24th], Ottawa: 18.1% [15th]
Penalty Kill:
Montreal: 82.2% [13th], Ottawa: 81.8% [15th]

KEYS TO WINNING THE GAME:

ELLIOTT PLAYS WELL AGAIN

Brian Elliott has taken the #1 job with 3 great starts. We will be facing a high-powered offense tonight, and he will need to play well for us to win.

OUTPLAY THE CANADIENS ON EVEN STRENGTH

Often times this season, the Sens have been terrible on even strength. We will need to be strong in this area the most tonight.

EVERYONE OUTWORKS AND OUTPLAYS OPPOSITION FOR THE ENTIRE GAME
This is how this team needs to win: Work hard for the entire game. Everyone needs to show up; One of Heatley/Spezza/Alfredsson/Elliott can't carry this team every day.

Ottawa's Key Players:

JASON SPEZZA (36 pts in 42 games)

FILIP KUBA (24 pts in 34 games)

DANIEL ALFREDSSON (39 pts in 41 games)

Montreal's Key Players:

ANDREI MARKOV (34 pts in 43 games)

CAREY PRICE (16-4-5, 2.30 GAA, .921 sv%)

ANDREI KOSTITSYN - MONTREAL CANADIENS (8 pts in last 5 games)

Make or Break Game Players:

BRIAN ELLIOTT - OTTAWA SENATORS

ANTOINE VERMETTE - OTTAWA SENATORS

MIKE FISHER - OTTAWA SENATORS

JAROSLAV HALAK - MONTREAL CANADIENS

ALEXEI KOVALEV - MONTREAL CANADIENS

ROBERT LANG - MONTREAL CANADIENS

---

GO SENS GO!

It's streaming on ATDHE.

Not too many people should go to it though so the traffic isn't huge and won't get ****ed up like last time.

I live in a house with two not so humble Montreal fans so I would love a Sens victory tonight.

Great GDT Metalhead.

So, I'm going to go see this one at a bar in Montreal, wearing my Alfie jersey. Pray for me!

I am hoping for a loss. Don't want Murray to get a false sense of hope and start trading assets for a playoff push when the chance of them making the playoffs is very low.

Nice picture choices for Montreal.

Go Sens Go! Big game for Elliott tonight, and the rest of the team too!

The national HNIC games have not been shown on US Center Ice all year because NHL Network US has picked up these broadcasts. So if you're like me and your market doesn't get NHL Network, no HNIC all year!

As for the game, I'll just be honest, I want the Sens to win. It would be huge for their morale if they did.

Nope. I have NHL-N as part of a sports package, and they usually offer some american team games. Ottawa was on it a couple times I believe too. Unless it's different down south?

I'd love to see a shut out for Elliott tonight, wipe the smile from all the smug Montreal fans...but I'm sure a plain old victory would do that as well.

GO SENS GO!

NHL Network simulcasts the CBC feed of HNIC (with the exception of when the World Jrs was on, they played that instead).

So for those in the US, you'd need to get that channel (it's separate from the Centre Ice package, both satellite providers have it in both SD and HD format now... not sure about cable options) in order to see tonight's game.

I'm not sure if Express-Vu carries NHLNHD yet or not, but I guess that's moot since it will be on CBCHD.

It's gonna be a tough game tonight, the sens to win needs to play a "crash n bang" style of game. Elliott will need to be the first star of the game for the sens to have any chance of winning. GO SENS GO
