Can the league just go ahead and give the Islanders Tavares and put them (slightly) out of their misery? Nylander would be on their top line right now. Of course that's if we didn't give them the Stingrays because he would then have to beat them out. Naturally this means we'll make the game interesting to say the least
starting to get a bit more faith with Feds there and more than 1.5 lines capable of scoring.
Hopefully Ovi is starting one of his 10 game scoring sprees.
MLK day. Still pretty weird though as plenty of people have work.
4-1 Caps. Please don't take the third period off this time!
I'm a teacher and it's a snow day here
The recent returnees to the lineup seem to be getting their legs back and the boys seem to be clicking again. Let's win these last 2 before the break. Easy teams so we need to take advantage and claim these points.
Hopefully Ovie starts it up again. He's been playing well but the scoring just hasn't bounced his way recently (except for the 2g 1a vs. the Pens).

The Islanders are going to lose the lottery. With the luck they have been having thats a sure thing.
If you end up in last place and lose the lottery this isn't a bad year to do it.
You get Hedman or Tavares and don't have to worry about anyone saying you picked the wrong one.
Yup. Especially for the Isles who could really use both players. There are some teams (like the Kings, or the Thrashers) for whom drafting Hedman would be a huge disappointment given their recent drafts.
