One thing is for sure, Guerin, Weight and Comrie will all be dealt in the coming weeks.
I don't think either point is true. First, the Isles are simply not trading Hunter. A first rounder is not even going to get Snow's attention - unless it is a lottery pick or something.

Second, Guerin has a NTC which he has already said he doesn't want to waive. The Isles MAY convince him to move but he is not a certainty to accept.

The Isles will also likely try to resign one of Comrie or Weight - or possibly both. Its not like either guy has much market value and the Isles do want some vets around to work with Okposo, Bailey, et al.

I'm personally not expecting a huge purge at the deadline. Maybe one or two impending UFAs gets moved. But, I suspect my fellow Isles fans will be disappointed with how litte we get in return.

Man, do I ever miss Oleg Kvasha. If Oleg was here, everything would be OK.

Makes sense to me. Why would they give anything (except a salary dump) to the Oilers when the Oilers have said they'll send Sabourin down to the AHL... the Isles can just pick him off waivers.
