Vancouver and Toronto

Would Vancouver consider moving Hodgson and a second to Toronto for Kaberle and a prospect?
Kaberle and Poni to Vancouver
Hodgson and a second Toronto
Blast away
Seeing as Ohlund is a UFA next year this would also help Vancouver fill that hole.

Why do you guys want Hodgson so badly? He sucks, just like our team.

Yet your avatar has Hodgson in it. Your posts are hilariously ridiculous sometimes.

Anyway, I doubt Toronto wants to part with Kaberle given his contract.

Sarcasm...No the Canucks would not like that deal. Anyone but Hodgson.

'you cant always get what you want, you cant always get what you want... but if you try sometimes you just might find... ya get whatcha need'

whether or not Toronto wants to get rid of kaberle based on his contract... if they are to do a proper rebuild they need to... as much as it may hurt.

I also can't see Vancouver giving up Hodgson no matter what is offered (unless it's way way over the top)

I wouldn't do that. Way overpayment by the Leafs.

Allstar D-man + 20 goal scorer

for

Bluechip prospect + 2nd

Laughable.

Are you comparing Stephane Robidas to Tomas Kaberle?

Nope, just filling in this "laughable" formula.

Allstar D-man + 20 goal scorer

for

Bluechip prospect + 2nd

Although you technically filled it in, I don't see what you are trying to prove. The original proposal is still moronic for the Leafs to consider.

EDIT: Brunnstrom isn't a 20 goal scorer yet, so you fail.

Silly Nuck fans, the fact that he is overated/overhyped doesn't make him a bad player. Just because he isn't 1st doesnt means hes last.

Im being sarcastic dude...... Canuck fans were attacked by Leafs fans for "overhyping" and "overrating" him. We got in trouble by policemen I mean Leafs fan, when we quoted Patt Quinn, and Bob Mckenzie.

There's no way Van parts with Hodgson before he steps into the league. Maybe if he has a first year like Stamkos we'll part with him to make an instant upgrade.

If the leafs could get Hodgson for Kaberle, i'm sure they'd jump on it. They'd have a center to build around and Luke Schenn.

We have plenty of 2nd line centers we can build around. We'd be looking for a 1st liner when moving Kaberle.

Negatory, sir. Neither Vancouver nor its fans would want to see that trade happen. There will be fans who would, but they`re going to be few and far-between.

You`re not going to get back a proven number 1 center, because odds are he will be traded to a playoff team... In that case I would think TO would be ecstatic to add a prospect like Hodgson, but there would need to be more going to TO than JUST Hodgson, and I doubt Vancouver trades him anyway, so its a moot point..

The fans wouldn't, the front office would.

Sorry, my friend, but Kaberle alone can get more than a Chris Drury 2.0. No offense to Hodgson, but he wouldn't land Kaberle AND Ponikarovsky.

Burke would look elsewhere.

I wouldn't trade Kaberle for Hodgson straight up. Hodgson is good, but he's overvalued right now after the world juniors. I'm just not sure how he'll adapt to the NHL game. I hope I'm wrong though, I like Hodgson. Anyways, vancouver values Hodgson very highly, so this deal won't happen.

Kaberle's value is not that high anymore. His contract($4.25M) is about right. He's a second-pairing D-man on a good team. Top-pairing on an awful team.

Good D-men on bad teams stay afloat - see Jan Hejda last year (who played top-pairing minutes and was +20)

Are you kidding? You'd be in the minority on that.
