Seriously, every player seem to be missing and failing at basic plays.
I don't know what they ate this morning, but I sure hope they don't eat that ever again.

Pacioretty was crushing people.
Trying to spark the team, I'd wager. Good on him.

This is funny. We're down 2 goals to a team who collides twice with one another this period alone.

Problem is, Price is always hurt. Better not crush any confidence the kid has left incase he has to take us to the promise land.

Trust me
Funny because after the second goal, Price went to the dressing room.

We're pulling a Boston vs. St. Louis type of performance so far. A loss tomorrow in New Jersey, which would surprise me a lot less, would certainly be disheartening going into the break. It's just Atlanta, so we can come back. But Halak, if Price can stay healthy, won't see the net for weeks after this. His mediocre play is not excusable despite our winning. People get the idea he has been filling in heroically, but it's just not true.
Halak is a clear backup and will maybe be trade bait one day, but he'll have to take his seat to Carey and rightly so. This is, however, the first time he has put us behind the 8-ball so early on like this. Usually he saves his worst goaltending for the 3rd period where he's turned a few 2 or 3 goal victories in 1 goal victories, sometimes in the SO too. Still, it was the right decision to start him here.

I know guys like Hamrlik, Komisarek, Gorges and Bouillon are not here to score goals...but how hard is it to at least hit the net?
