Gomez 3rd star? That was either Näslund's or Perry's.

wonder if Renney will convince himself that Voros contributed because we won

The effort in this game compared to Sunday was night and day. Of course Henrik was solid. I thought the stars should have been Betts #1; Henrik #2 and Cally and Naslund #3.

Good win before the break.

Nothing like some home cooking and staying away from the Crosby show on channel 4. And I liked that Ducks team. I thought they were pretty good. And Nas picked up his game again just in time.

Does any one know where I can find our record at the All Star Break last year?

Great win. Very happy to go into the break with a win (as well as 3 in 4 games). Henrik stepped up big, Betts definitely deserved that star..just an all-around great game for a guy who plays his ass off every night.

You hate to go a week without a game, but at least it's on a winning note..2 straight bad losses going into the break would have rough.

Very good all-around win tonight.

If only this team could play like that night in and night out, hell, even 75% of the time, no one would be questioning their place in the standings. Great game all around.

Voros is going to need a map of Hartford if he keeps "contributing" like he did tonight.

What a game by Lundqvist!. Happy to eat crow on Gomez, nice powerplay goal by him and Naslund. Slats still needs to make a move or two, but its nice to go on the break with a win.

Thoughts of the game

Betts is a beast on the PK and that's why we can't trade a guy like him for more offense because you need a 4th liner with some offensive abiliy with a strong defensive minded attitude. Just like you can't teach a player talent, you can't teach someone to have balls

Gomez played the best game he;s played all season. he was fast agressive and looked like a player that we saw from last season. Tonight, HE was the catalyst of that line.

Naslund played like the old player from the beginning of the Prague trip and that's great to see him starting to score again.

Lundqvist, nothing has to be said about.

The defense looked awesome tonight. Kalinin is stepping up and Redden is looking much more consistant. Mara and Girardi have been great all year. Roszival has been very good. Staal......need I say more?

Fritsche was invisible and i thought we had 2 players on the 2nd and third lines. Voros was god awful. What does he merit over Korpikoski? speed? hell no! Size? at least Korpedo uses it. Scoring ability? 5 months ago. Korpikoski has to be in that lineup. Same goes for Fritsche. Prucha has to be in that lineup because I saw nothing.....................Literally. At least with Prucha there is energy that bounces around. I have seen nothing from Fritsche.

Overall, solid game.

The Ducks GDT is deja vu of our GDT from the Pens over the weekend.
