It seems like everything we've done poorly throughout the season we did well in this game. And we won! Coincidence???

good win. solid. pp won it.

difference in the game was special teams tonite. 2 goals. and a shorty.

if we score pp goals, we can play with anyone.

if we go 0-7 tonite on the pp. we lose.

simple.

fire pearn. then renney.

Yeah, a lot of times because of when the votes have to be in the writers just put "game winner" instead of a name.

Penguins are going to need a great second half to get into the playoffs. That Hossa trade took away a lot of depth at the wing position for them. Again, great game by The King.

Not too much to complain about with this one. Well we played like **** against Pittsburgh. That's about all I can think of. Everyone was pretty solid tonight. Voros--a bad tripping penalty--the other two I don't know--more unlucky than anything. I really don't think he should have been penalized for the hit on Miller. Fritsche was fine as well considering he hasn't played in forever.

I think he's going to get himself traded out of town

Looks like Renney sent a message.
Looks like Voros didn't get it.

Whats next? Getting smaller on the wing is not an option.

Solid win. Lundqvist bailed us out a lot, as usual. Voros is terrible. How many penalties did he take? 3? Nice job proving you belong in this lineup. Get Prucha back in there please, at least he gives some effort instead of being a lazy bum standing around knocking people over.

Get Voros and Fritsche out! Pru and Korp should be in!

...Overall, great win boys! 60 points going into the All-Star Break!

Just got back from the game, nice win despite the brutal Power Play.

Voros looks AWFUL out there, huffing & puffing & taking 2 horrible penaltys.

Got last minute tickets and had a fun time , seeing 2 PP Goals and 2 SH's in 1 game was a treat.

It looks terrible, bad passes, little to no movement, poor shot selection.

The Gomez goal was a gift.

And that game is the exact reason why we need our PP to be spectacular for the playoffs. Let's hope we can score some more!

Some people are never happy. The terrible Powerplay that scored twice, really 3 times (I believe we were on a powerplay for the one that did not count) not to mention the chance Dawes had and hte goal post hit. Nope. It looked bad so the results dont matter.

It worked partially today, outside of the 2 goals we scored, the other 4 or5 PPs we had inculding a brief 5 on 3 were terrible, So NO i'm not happy & neither should you.
Don't be blinded by the short term success when the long term overall story has been horrible. The PP is Bad, end of story.

The prolbem That I can see with the PP is that there is no cycling down low, there isn't any movement, it's all along the boards & hap hazard cross ice passing, it doesn't work.

Gomez score that goal because Naslund tied up hiller in front, it was a dity goal, that's how a PP should work, lots of traffic in front & down Low.
