Okay, no empty netter...guess I can settle for a 5-3 win.

AWESOME job, Bolts! Great way to go into the All Star break.

Wooo another win

Good overall game, apart from a few breakdowns in the 2nd. Yeah twas a lot of back and forth but I'll take this kind of game over another snoozefest like Dallas any day of the week.

I tought Downie-Stamkos-Jokinen had another terrific game. And boy that Murphy guy really has some offensive flair. I don't like him out there on the PK though.

edit: oh and we had 5 goals but could've had 10 easily; the missed empty netter by Recchi, breakaways for Marty and Vinny, Marty hitting the crossbar and Halpern the post, and that miraculous Miller save right near the end.

That Kraijcek goal was hilarious btw, he was basically standing on the goal line and still managed to put it off the post Lucky for him Vanek put it in.

Anywayz, good night.

Downie and Stamkos being on the ice for the final minute shows alot of respect. For all the flak his workout program took it must be doing something right because Stamkos now and Stamkos 20 games ago are two different players.

Good win. The lapses in the 2nd period didn't rattle them and they kept battling. I really like the Stamkos line, Toc needs to keep Downie up here now, he and Stammer seem to play very well together.

And how 'bout that D lightin' it up tonight!!

I was going to say something similar to that. Stamkos looks like a hockey player not, not a wide eyed deer with a semi headed at him.

Nice to see a win without the big guys pstting points, shows we have some scoring depth, especially on our blue line tonight!

Good way to enter the ASG Break, winning 5 of 7! Good to see they're battling hard and distribiting the scoring around hahaha

officiating was terrible, Buffalo kept scoring, but we didn't give up. Awesome win before the break

Just keep winning. I think this team has turned the corner and is in good shape for the rest of this season into next year.

I think they have found a diamond in the rought with Cory Murphy. I wonder if working out with Stamkos will help a bit , especially with getting over the mental issues from his shoulder injury?

Great game, very entertaining

Toc deserves a real NHL head coaching job

The goal by Krajicek in the second period was his first in 65 games, dating to Nov. 29, 2007, against Columbus. ... D Ty Wishart, who was called up earlier in the day, collected his first career point with an assist on Jeff Halpern's goal in the second period. After the game, Wishart and RW Steve Downie were reassigned to AHL Norfolk. ... Wednesday was the third time this season Tampa Bay has scored five or more goals, the second time against the Sabres.

I would expect it of Wishart though, I think they are hoping our dmen heal up over the break, so they can bring Quick up again as they will have Smaby back.

Just my stab at the logic behind it.

Edit: Damn just beaten to it

He's probably talking about Murphy who has had shoulder injuries.

Well I hope that's the reason they sent him down. Personally, I would LOVE to see an Artyukhin-Stamkos-Downie line, man that would be one speedy line and I think Stammer would really have fun out there with those guys. But I guess they prefer to keep Jokinen up.
