What about.. 1st line..

Max pac - Sak - Kovy

I think this could be great, with Max fetching the puck for these two scorerss..

What do you think of that? Because we know Carbs not done with the shuffeling.. Aren't we?

And, keeping Kovy and Sak togheter, could help team spirit.. Anyway, I think, because I also thing that they dont't necessarely get along.. But Max pac could make the difference. We need a real 1st line, that blend could kill..

Oh Plek? Carb will find a spot, for now

Really, killer line?

How about Patches Koivu, Dags
and then Begin Pleks Kovalev.

Begin and Kovalev showed chemistry on one goal this yearand whoever plays with kovalev doesnt touch the puck anyways so might as well put begin in that spot and let Koivu play with the two young guys.

Sens has got a killer first line too.

Wont happen. Just keep the lines the way they are everybidy seem to play good with those lines just add the players on the "other" line as thye come back.

Koivu on the 4th line?

You know Carb, he'll play 2 shifts there then its musical chair..

I expect that line to come to fruition tonight. If that phrase sounds like I mean it..

And the Sens do not have the rest of our team..

Then make it

Koivu's line
Plakanec's line
Lang's line
Lapierre's line

Koivu's line is the first one here, so there shouldnt be any problem, right?

It have a feeling that that is what we are going to see if we are losing by 2-3 goals in the 3rd and PLeks is not having a good game!
Carbo will move saku to the Kovy line with Patches and demote Pleks to the Dago and whoever line!

How many time will it take to realize that Koivu and Kovalev don't play that great together!!? Carbo tried it at least 3-4 times already. Koivu/Tanguay/D'Ago (or Higgins) is just fine, and Kovy is at his best with Pleks.

The only problem is Carbs wont make Kostop ride the pine. He loves him as much as brunet loves Lats.

This is the real problem, because i would not sent neither MaxPac or Dagger down. They are really playing some really good hockey. Even PJ Stock today on 990 today said that players like those two are gonna surprise in playoffs and i really agree. These two kids never give up and are 110% effort every game.

Bingo.. and the only reason D'Ago isn't producing much is because of who he's playing with. Give him Koivu back and he's gonna score.

Why send down a guy on the last year of his contract? We need to see what he can do in the NHL.

The only reason Patches is producing more than D'Ago is due to the scoring line he's playing on. It'd be a lot more neck n' neck with D'Ago playing with Koivu and Tanguay still.

when everyone is healthy one has to go down to stay under the 23 man roster limit.

After the deadline.. both can stay as the limit no longer applies.

ATM Dagger is lucky to play more than 10 minutes a game on a line who is meant to be more of a defensive line. He isnt on any Power Plays, he isnt matched up with any good offensive talent ( though im really LOVE seeing him with Stewert ) and i think that if he can play with Koivu and Tang, that is gonna be one CRAZY line.

Koivu and Kovalev really don't mesh at all.

Koivu and Kovalev has worked well together, don't know why people are saying it hasn't. The longest stints they had together was in the '05-'06 season, where Koivu put up 28 points in 28 games (10-18-28, +1) and Kovalev put up 26 points in 28 games (10-16-26, -1). After Kovalev returned from injury, they played another 18 games together before Kovalev moved to Ribeiro's line, with Koivu putting 20 points over that span (5-15-20, +2) and Kovalev 19 points (7-12-19, +3).

Combined, that gives Koivu 15-33-48, +3 in 46 games, and Kovalev 17-28-45, +2 in 46 games. Seems to indicate they played fairly well together; it wasn't until Gainey took over and eventually Carbonneau that they saw minimal ice-time together (through '06-'07 and '07-'08, neither played together much if at all).

Dagger wasn't producing with Tanguay and Lang.... its not just his linemates.. its that he came up on fire and working like a man possessed and then he stopped working as hard after about 10 games.

I think Koivu and Kovalev could play together, but I think it would make our attack too top heavy. Other teams could focus more on that one line to neutralize it and our other lines wouldn't be as strong. Each of those guys can be a go-to guy on their own line, so why put them together?

Until we have every single forward healthy, I don't see why we need to have this discussion. When was the last time our forward crop was 100% healthy?

For now, with Tanguay and Laraque still out, I think these could work:

Higgins-Koivu-D'Agostini
Pacioretty-Plekanec-Kovalev
Andrei-Lang-Sergei
Latendresse-Lapierre-Kostopolous

If Tanguay gets back before another injury, then we can worry about it.
