The league needs 30 Ovechkin's. Regardless of what you might think of his shtick, the guy loves to play and it shows. Absolutely the most marketable player in the league right now, with all due respect given to Sidney Crosby.

i knew Cogliano and Raymond would do solid in the fastest skater. if it wasnt for Raymond screwing up it might have been tight but i think Cogliano is faster.

Carter's stride is fairly uneconomical. pretty upright instead of more crouched and long. he looks like Pitkanen skating in a way. still solid but its more smooth than straight power. id love to see Ovechkin in that event again. his crossovers are beastly.

I think Cogs time would have been even faster had he not hit the boards on that last turn.

OV is the best player in the world hands down,,well, unless you're Don Cherry and his chauvanistic pro Canadian opinions saying Joe Thornton is the best player. Get real Cherry.

SO I had to post this, you can chaulk that up as another thing that Weber does better then Celine, shoot.

So he's as good offensively, more consistant, better defensively and he shoots harder.

Me thinks Shea Weber is better.
