You know this brings up an idea for an interesting poll. I'll start a thread for it. Kocur threw bombs.

I was going to say. Can we maybe make a poll out of this thread? I think it would be interesting to see (of course there's no right or wrong answer) who fans think our top 3 enforcers of all time are. One being the toughest.

Kocur was a mean SoB. Rudy Poeschek was no slouch when he played for the Rangers either, he could throw some bombs.

Awesome video, the video was awesome, meanest right hand the NHL has ever seen and man did our toughness improve dramatically the second he came to the Rangers.

Kocur fought Van Dorp though too. They had a good fight, exchanging bombs. Kocur landed better, and ended up breaking Van Dorp's nose in the fight. Van Dorp was a bloody mess, and went off for repairs.

That was a great video. Jack hammer for a right hand. Very compact. I'd like to know who that guy was on the Flyers that he hit. And you would think the teammates on the Jets would've helped that guy off the ice. He couldn't make on his own.

The one thing I remember and this is why I absolutely hated Mick Vukota. During Vukota's years with the Isles, he would win his bouts against Poeschek, then the Rangers brought in Domi and as far as I can remember they were about all even fights I believe. But I remember Vukota wanted no part of Kocur when he was with the Rangers. And as horrible a hockey player Vukota was, he should have fought Kocur.

It's funny too because after the 1994 season and the Rangers won the Cup, they still held on to Kocur and the Islanders traded Vukota away. They probably saw what I saw. Maybe. lol

Sorry man. The Kocur collection I got off the webz did not have that tilt. It sure 'sounds' great tho.

Thanks. Kocur looked like one fearless sob. He could for sure "take one, to give one".

The Flyer is Claude Boivin.

Nevermind I apologize at 4:27 I thought it was Probert cuz Kocur's hair looked longer than usual and he looked like Probert for a minute, my apologies.
