i dont see them getting weight if roenick is coming back any time soon

I think in an article the other day JR said he'd move to wing if needed. As for Weight... I doubt he comes here.

I think that if Clarke is going to ge any other players it has to be Witt. we don't really need anymore forwards IMO.

I believe that if there is any validity to this rumor, it was when the Blues were on the verge of completely dropping out of the playoff hunt. They have since turned things around and snuck into the 8th spot (ahead of LA), so I don't think STL is interested in moving Weight anymore.

I think it's a matter of looking for opportunities to improve the team for the playoff run. Clarke may pick up a guy like Satan yet.

See, that is where I disagree. I think the Blues would be gladly risk two-three home dates in the playoffs (the are not going past the 1st) in order to get some salary relief. If it comes down to losing Pronger for nothing or getting a diminished return on Weight, then Pleau will be moving Weight 9 times out of ten.

We already have a prciey second winger, see Leclair. Weight makes too mcuh money and would probably bring in to much in return. I think Clarke thinks Doug can repeat that huge performance he had in last year's playoffs. Either way, if Clarke makes a move, it'll be for another defenceman.
