iPod, Zune, Sandisk

What do you have or what do you want.

I have an iPod video.

Edit: If I missed another popular one tell me and I'll add it.

iPod Classic 160gb..

For the space and integration with iTunes, it was a no brainer for me...

I'll stick with my iPod classic. I'd like to get a iTouch when they increase the HD size to my music's capacity. A 160GB iTouch would be awesome. I know they use a flash drive but it'll happen eventually.

I've got a 30 GB iPod Video and my brother's got a 2 GB iTouch. I wind up using the iTouch a lot for the web browser and YouTube.

I have a Samsung S3 (8GB). I'm looking at the Samsung P3 when that comes out. I have a couple of portable media players in the Archos 605 (160 GB) and Archos 5 (250 GB).

Perhaps not as popular, but some other mp3 makers:

Sony
Samsung
Cowon
Archos
Creative
iRiver

If your going to get an Ipod classic then get the Zune because it beats in every category including software. However, if your leaning towards the touchscreen mp3 players then Ipod it is.

This is how Zune's software looks like:

It also has wireless syncing so you can walk into your room with your Zune and it will automatically sync with the program.

It doesn't beat the iPod in marketing, and we all know how important it is to have a well marketed product these days!

I used to be an iPod man, but after having multiple ones break, terrible customer service, and...well, I just didn't like iTunes, I bought a Zune. Never looked back.

I have 2 Zunes 80gb & 120gb

(i have my entire music collection on both plus a few movies, i use it alot for traveling)

Plus i have 2 Sandisk Sansa Clips (4gb & 8gb)

Great for working out, running...i DLed all my Law school classes into the 8gb...easy to carry around, very compact.

Now i have nothing against Apple ( i bought my wife a apple shuffle & 8gb ipod touch this xmas)

But i dont like how fragile they seem to be.

I have a first gen 30GB Zune. Aside from the bizarre downtime that happened a few weeks ago, I've loved the thing. It does everything I've need, the capacity is enough for now, and it has survived multiple falls onto concrete and such. And it only cost me $99. Yeah, it was a refurb. One of the better purchases I've ever made. My only complaint is that it's a bit bulky. I don't know if the new ones are smaller.

dude, Zune's troubled software is one of the biggest problems with it; NOT a selling point

though, i agree there's no point in buying a classic, it should be phased out and the zune's offering is better

I put music on my friends Zune who, at the time, only had a Mac (I've since built him a PC ).

The software worked flawlessly, although the website to register was a bit annoying.

What are you referring to? I've only had mine since Christmas and find it easy to use and reliable.

I actually recently lost my Sansa 4 GB. But I was looking to upgrade anyways since I have 9 gigs of music on my comp. So I look forward to more insightful info ;-)
