Sabres vs. Oilers :: 7PM MST :: Revenge of the Reddox... The Redux.

OK, So I don't have a ton of time to do this, but I'm going to the game, and am on a one game GDT winning streak, so might as well try and make it two. Also, I've been to three games so far this year, and they've won em all, so why the REDDOX not.

TV: Snet
Radio: Ched/ XM 2something
Microwave: This game will not be televised by microwaves.
Where: Rexall Place in Edmonton
Directions: take a left at the sex-trade worker who is actually a nice person, but is just a little lost and follow the road until you have to pay for parking. Pay, walk until you meet a guy who may or may not be sporting a mullet and is asking if you'd like to buy or sell tickets.

Reddox fact #1: Liam Reddox has seven different colors of Ipod skin covers, including yellow.

Can Third Star of the Week, aka Fan Fav Poll Leader, aka Ales Hemsky continue his dominant play after the weekend break? Incase you lost your memory over the weekend, here's a reminder of what this guy can do...

Did that jog your memory?

Reddox fact #2: Liam Reddox once ate 4 salted crackers without drinking water, all in under one minute.

Here's an intensive hilight package of Liam Reddox.

Reddox fact #3: Liam Reddox drinks lemonade, but doesn't really have a color preference; I prefer pink.

[BUFFALO]TEAM COMPARISON 2008-2009 Team Stats[EDMONTON]
53 Points: 51
24 Wins: 24
3 Shutouts: 1
11 Power Play Rank: 17
3 Penalty Kill Rank: 28
.619 Win % When Leading After 1: .929
.737 Win % When Leading After 2: .929
.438 Win % When Trailing After 1: .250
.211 Win % When Trailing After 2: .111

Reddox fact #4: Liam Reddox recently bought a BBQ.

OILERS GAMEDAY LINK: http://oilers.nhl.com/team/app?gameN...9&service=page
JOURNAL GAMEDAY LINK: http://www.edmontonjournal.com/sport...934/story.html

Reddox fact #5: Liam Reddox prefers Mr. Roper over Mr. Furley.

I'll try to add more in the afternoon time permitting, including line-ups, but it looks like Gagner might be sitting this one out. If I can't add more info, feel free to add it below, I'm not sure how much free time I'll have.

I'll end this by saying I actually like Reddox, and I'm happy he's carved a niche for himself, although I'd prefer that he keep his niche somewhere in the bottom six area. The jabs at him in this GDT are only here for cheap giggles and because I think we all agree on how he's being slightly over used.

CLAP, CLAP...

edit: from TSN ice chips..

Forward Sam Gagner had an MRI on Monday to check out his sore ankle. Sheldon Souray got the day off following the All-Star weekend. - TSN

Practice Lines

Forwards:
Penner - Horcoff - Hemsky
Milsson - Cogliano - Cole
Moreau - Pouliot - Reddox
McIntyre - Brodziak - Jacques

Defence:
Strudwick - Gilbert
Visnovsky - Grebeshkov
Smid - Staios

Goaltender:
Roloson
JDD

It appears as though Kent Nilsson and Millhouse from The Simpsons have pro-created.

All we need to know is if any other player will replace Gagner's IR 'stache... Is Reddox growing one? I'm worried about the game now...

If I wear a Oilers hat then I say 4-3 Sabres in OT

goals by Souray,Cole, and Cogliano

If I wear my Blue Jackets hat then I say Oilers win 3-2.

Goals Hemsky,Cole, and Souray.

What does me wearing a specific hat have anything to do with a outcome? I'm superstitious. I believe when I wear a specific teams hat on game day, I jinx them and they lose.

Either way, they probably will be out-shot, out-hit and out-played, won't be "deserving" the win...

I was hoping for "V for Vanek" or something like that, but this'll do.

Well, I'm sorry to dissapoint you guys.

What my GDT lacks in quality content and information, it's made up by the fact that... uhhh... I got nothing.

I say a 4-1 win. Gaustad scores on the PP, otherwise Roloson keeps the door shut.

Clap, Clap

Roloson was a sieve in the last game ... 3 clean shots from a decent distance and they all went straight in, no screens. You can let maybe one goal like that in through the course of a game and still come out looking good but... damn.

I think the Roloson we have right now is the same as the Roloson that finished the season with us last year. The Roloson who will routinely let in 3-6 goals every single night regardless of the quality of the chances. ( - honestly, with the exception of one or two games.) But we still managed to win a lot of those games. Will our offence be able to keep up with the blazing pace easily set by the opposing squadron each game? Stay tuned to find out.
