We chose to forego dinner tonight because of the weather. We'll try again tomorrow.

Heh. It sucks, doesn't it? Get some rest -- mentally I'm still fragged.

i feel for both of you guys. seriously.

this is the first time in 5 years that i'm not working until 9pm M-F with 6 hour Saturdays.

and it's still so hard for me to fathom how terrible it was to work that much when i'm itching to leave work here by 4:45pm each day.

take it easy this weekend, boys.

I am planning on relaxing this weekend. Granted, I'm not a Super Bowl guy... so there may be a day-trip in the immediate future Sunday. The reality may be very different, but that's the plan right now.

Today is my Sunday days off wise (I work Friday through Tuesday right now) and I'm doing absolutely nothing today. I am SOOO counting down until my Sunday is actually a Sunday though.

Afino and I are having a Super Bowl party. So far the only RSVP is my dad, via web cam.

i need advice -

today during my scheduled workout class, the president and CEO of my company (it's a big international fortune 300 company) is flying to Tonawanda to release annual earnings and talk about our company's plans and reactions to the economy.

it's probably a pretty important speech and interesting to see this guy, but- it's my last scheduled workout until monday and i hate missing workout classes.

do i got to class or do i go listen to my CEO speak? HELP!

edit to add: and yes, i COULD workout later today by jumping on my treadmill but the chances of that are truly slim.

I would say that go to the speech. Not everyday that someone gets to be around/see/possibly meet their CEO if it is that big of a company. Plus it could possibly earn brownie points with you local bosses if they see you showing interest in his speech.

Go see the CEO. Reschedule your workout. CEO =/= mundane. Workout = mundane.

Stay the **** away from Acer. I've got the Extensa 5420, and I've had a myraid of problems with it.

They're really not made well. So far, I'm working with hinge damage, a busted audio jack, and the damned thing overheats all the time (even with a fan underneath).

Go for a HP or Dell laptop . . . . stay away from Acer and emachines.
