Tkachuk's six NHL club wish list.

http://www.hockeybuzz.com/blog.php?blogger_id=5

In no particular order….from Andy Strickland. Prospects are being talked about, not picks.

1. Boston
2. Rangers
3. Capitals
4. Possibly Pittsburgh (depending on where they are in the standings)
5. Detroit
6. San Jose

1. Boston - Doesn't need him. He'll just slow them down.
2. Rangers - Need him. Somebody like Shanny to crash the crease.
3. Capitals - Don't need him. Team Russia doesn't gel with Team USA.
4. Possibly Pittsburgh (depending on where they are in the standings) - Doesn't need him. He's not Hossa.
5. Detroit - Doesn't need him. They just need Holmstrom and Franzen to stay healthy.
6. San Jose - Doesn't need him. Plays the right style but he'll just disrupt the lineup.

Badabing! The Rangers will win the Tkachuk sweepstakes!!!

Strickland is as reliable as they come when it's about the Blues... I think this is probably not far from the truth.

Walt to Philly for...

Glen Metropolit, a first and a second!!!

hey Glen, they traded you to St. Louis again!

The NHL needs to start the Waltglen Rule whereby Keith is traded for Glen at every trade deadline.

He's old. We don't need him. And Prucha would be part of the package. He now has a definite spot in the lineup with Fritsche being waived.

And yet the Caps have an American captain (Chris Clark).

Why would any contending team trade for Keith Tkachoke? Is someone purposely looking to blow a 3-1 lead in the 1st round of the playoffs?

Oh man would I be mad if the Red Wings traded anything of value at all for that loser.

I agree that Detroit is a horrible fit and I can't seem them doing anything either than a minor tweak, but having read the article it isn't a list of teams that have shown interest in Tkachuk, but teams that he thinks Tkachuk would be willing to go to. Just because Detroit has shown no interest (and isn't a good fit at all from Detroit's end of it) doesn't mean Tkachuk wouldn't be willing to go there.

Touche.

Only player in NHL history to be apart of THREE teams blowing a series after being up 3 games to 1. (Jets 92, Coyotes 99 and Blues 03). And don't forget his amaizing scoring ability in the playoffs. 1 goal with the Thrashers in 4 playoffs games. KT's 0 goals in 5 games in 2004. 1 goal in 2003 as the Blues lose in 7 games. 2 goals in 15 games in 2001 playoffs. 1 goal in 5 games in the 2000 playoffs and his 1 goal in 7 games as the Coyotes lose to the Blues after being up 3 games to 1.

But good thing Epsilon or myself are not General Mangers in the National Hockey League.

Letting the bidding begin! And let Keith waive his NTC once again!

If St. Louis manages to trade the guy yet again, somebody there clearly deserves a golf clap.

Watch him sign back with them in the summer...
