What a joke of a comment.

At least he's a man and can admit he was terrible.

Get off your high horse and go somewhere else.

I really didn't think Redden played bad at all tonight. I wasn't overly impressed, but he certainly wasn't terrible.

wowwwww. that was one of the worst displays of defense I have ever witnesed.

Lundqvist must be hung over or something from the All Star Break.... LOL 5 goals in a period! Carey Price and Tim Thomas gave up that many COMBINED in their 2 periods at the ALL STAR GAME. Lundqvist must be confused, we're not in Montreal anymore and it's not ok to give up 5+ goals in one period and expect it to be OK.

next, Ok the crappy play from guys like Kalinin and Redden is expected..but what has been going on with the guys whom we cherished like Mara and Girardi. Girardi's been playing weak the past couple of games, and had the brutal turnover to Malkin for the 6th goal. Then Mara gets completely owned by Letang 1 on 1, which turned out to be a beauty.

***** Aaron Voros. Why is this clown in the lineup, and better yet, placed on the same line with two dynamic players in Dubi and Zherdev. He does nothing but hold the two back......and he cant finish on a 2 on 1 with basically the whole net staring him in the face.

Where's captain invisible? Ok he had a few "good games" and one where he was clearly the best player on the ice in Chicago...but other than that, this guy is a waste. ONE SHOT, -2,.....yet he clocked 20:00 full minutes, while Zherdev played 16 and had a goal, 8 Shots on goal, and could've had upwards of 2 or 3 assists if anyone on this team could finish in front of a wide open net.(those Voros and Betts chances come into mind)..

OK Im done...sorry, I had to help a friend out after the 2nd period. I left feeling confident we're going to win, turn it on again at my friends apartment just as Sykora scores at 4-1.
Man was I pissed.

He has been average lately, which is still sad all things considered.

The last two games, sure. The games before that he was pretty much fantastic. I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt unless this continues.

For once I actually just loved what Renney said in the postgame. Basically that Lundqvist by all means should take responsibility, but that the coaching staff and players need to man up too. Henrik taking sole blame is ********, and that the rest of the team deserves as much blame here.

Anyone who doesn't want to start Lundqvist on Saturday has got to explain why. He is not why this team has problems. So he had a bad period? Pick him the **** up for once. This offense is a joke, if Henrik gives up 4 goals the team doesn't have a chance..

Sit Drury, sit Redden, hell.. sit Girardi hes been awful lately too.. but don't sit the one player who is A)a real superstar and B) gives a flying ****.

Makes me SICK to see Lundqvist always take the blame in games like this. Score some goals for once...

If by a devils fan you mean not a Rangers fan boy, then yes.
I love to see this team succeed, but I'm not a dishonest homer who will defend them no matter how bad they play.

They do need a rest after their long vacation to various beaches around the world.

Ludqvist has bailed this team out and stole wins for us how many times this year? How many times has this team bailed Hank out when he was having a bad game, ZERO...

Im just counting the days until a big trade..
at this point, anyone who can finish on a golden opportunity is welcome on this team.

Hell, if it was Red Wings..no scratch that...if it was the DEVILS who had all those opportunities that we had in the 2nd, then theyd be going into the 3rd up 2 or 3 goals.

Played well up until that fluke goal by Staal in the beginning of the third. The team just lost all composure after that. Let's analyze Pitt's goals in the third one by one....

2-1: Staal throws it in front of the net, goes off the back skate of Lundqvist when his head is turned the other way. Sometimes it happens.

3-1: Betts has been and is solid in his own end. However, he completely blew the coverage on Letang and let him walk in and roof it glove side.

4-1: Nothing much you can do defensively on a 5 v 3. However, Lundqvist has to save that shot, no exceptions.

5-1: Letang makes a nice rush down the ice and shoots it on goal. Just like the previous goal, a goalie NEEDS to make that save. Lundqvist has no make that save, again, no exceptions. Two very weak goals on Lundqvist.

6-1: Nothing needs to be said, pretty goal, nothing could've been done.

Overall, a very sloppy team effort for most of the third. You gotta play the full 60 minutes if you want to win games. It simply looks like the team ran out of gas in the 3rd from the game last night. However, there is no excuse for such a poor effort. Renney needs to drill these guys until they puke in practice to send a message. This was an unacceptable effort tonight, and I'm disgusted and embarassed to be a Rangers fan after this game. There is just so much wrong with this team on so many levels.

I wish I could have NHL talent for just one shift.

I would lay crosby out. Get suspended for life and become a legend among Ranger fans.

Rangers = No muscle, no grit, no checking, no offense.

When watching some other teams (even some of the crappier western teams) it semme like they are flying out there, checking and putting pressure down low on the opposing D. NYR are in total lack of "along the board skill", dumps the puck to try to get to it first instead of crashing the D and bring them down. Same goes for the defense, no hitting, no crashing and can not clear the crease in front of Lundqvist. No wonder this team gets that many fluke/deflections/bounces goals against, it's a reflection of the lack of muscles.

Also, when trailing by 1, 2 or 3 goals why can this team never just let it all go? Just push forward, stand your ground at the blueline and most important go for the break aways, bloody everyone. Even Toronto looks more scary when they're just pushing forward with everything.
