-There was a time where Plekanec wouldn't lose the puck after 2 strides.
-There was a time where Kovalev wouldn't lose the puck in his skates.
-There was a time where we could complete more than 2 passes in a row.
-There was a time where we would score on 2 on 1's
-There was a time where we would hit the net on point shots.
-There was a time we would outskate teams.
-There was a time Sergei Kostitsyn was playing.
-There was a time where our goalies were making saves.
-There was a time where we didn't need a 5 on 3 to score on the PP.

Shall I continue?

Before Koivu's injury he was our best forward.

Detroit is one of the best teams in the league and they're losing to the Stars and they just lost to the Blue Jackets. Should they go off the handle too like some on these boards?

You win some, you lose some, there's still plenty of time left in this game.

Go Habs Go!!
I think people are just looking at the big picture : we won't win playoff games like this. I don't doubt we will make the playoffs but that's not the goal when you are supposed to have a talented team, it's to win in the playoffs.

This team has looked terrible. From watching this game it looks like its something to do with the forwards and I'm not just saying that cause TSN broadcasters are. We get hemmed in our own zone and the 2 def are the ones in deep trying to get the puck out. The forwards are way too high and the Florida defense are beating them to the puck.

Does anyone know if there are any sites out there that track the time individual players spend in possession of the puck? Would be interesting to see if anyone out there keeps track of that info.

to Zednik, beauty goal. Good for him. Shame it had to be against us though.

3 questions:

Where are the leaders and the veterans of the team?
Why only the kids are blamed/benched?
Why the **** one of our best dmen from last game is not playing and the retard is?

I agree with you, but your best can only do so much. Sometimes you need your secondary players to step up. Koivu has actually been playing well and getting plenty of scoring chances. Too bad tonight he can't hit the net.

You have to wonder what Bouillon was thinking as well. I could see from a mile away that Gorges was going to beat on that play. You saw that play developing on the Panthers side of center yet there was Bouillon floating back.

All i'm is saying, is that some people need to RELAX. Any team can beat any team on any given night. I agree that we're not playing up to par, but it's January not April. Lots of hockey left

I know Higgins is coming off of a long layoff but watching him play so far since his injury is brutal. He's supposed to chip in on offense and goals but I don't even see him getting chances to score.

0 For Florida

At least most of you get to watch it on TSN; I can't stand the homers on the american networks!

Why can't this team hit the damn net... seriously we must be the worse team offensively inside 10 feet from the net!!!

Carbo says that the real season has begun...too bad his team doesn't think so.

O'Bryne has a good game... so you replace him with Breeze-Bye!

AK46 looks lost with Kovy again...you would think Carbo would remember that from the beginning of the season!

Put the brothers with Pleky... they do work well together and seem to motivate each other!!!

Koivu was consistently one of our best players before getting hurt.

That statement is crap. You need contributions from your whole roster, no top team has 2-3 players carry them every night bec ause teams that are like that(Ottawa, Tampa Bay) are not top teams.

Thank god for Lang, man we would be dead last on the pp if we didn't get him,not that we're great but holy **** we ****in suck

Im sorry and not one to bash the team like this and don't start dumb treads after 2-3 loses but with this team going into the playoffs I really don't see how we can get past 1st round, the only team we could beat out of the top 8 is the NYR right now IMO
