I'd like to see TOR pick up Del Zotto, Prucha and Dubinsky.

What would it take?

Frolov to me is a good scoring forward. That's it. Nothing more. He's soft for his size as well.
Frolov is great defensively, lol. I'm not sure what Dubinsky has done to warrant the love. I mean he's sitting on the Rangers 3rd line behind 2 extremely overpaid players who aren't great offensively. Maybe he's getting the Prucha treatment where he's thrown on the 3rd line after a good rookie season? Have a good rookie year then get demoted to the 3rd line because we have to buy the most expensive vets out there.

That could get a very nice return.

A top ten pick, or something like Bouwmeester.

Actually he's been the 2nd line center for the majority of the season.

Also, Gomez and Drury were brought in before he played his rookie season, so I'm not quite sure where you got this demotion nonsense from.

Pyatt makes $1.575mill

Prucha makes $1.6mill.

the money already evens out... but I wouldn't mind taking a chance on Voros anyways... a homecoming might be good for him and help him take the next step in his development. I'd do a Pyatt for Prucha and Voros deal in a heartbeat.

This type of deal allows LA to add to the stable of young NHLers AND make cap space and add to the pipeline of prospects.

Kaberle and Poni. Then the rangers add another pick like a future second as well.

Not playing like crap, he is. Sure hes ok on the bottom 6 but they need to stop auditioning him as a top 6. Get rid of him and end the experiments.

The Kings have plenty of Cap space and DL has made it clear he intends to use that cap space to re-up his core players.

I would not trade Sangs or DZ unless it's a Boumeister coming back

and they would have to take Rozi as well which actually makes some sense since Florida is in a playoff push

this one actually makes some sense if the Rangers give those two up plus some more salary like Prucha...........and even Dawes if Florida gives back some more assets for this yr

This year and next they do. However many believe the cap will take a big dip in 2010-11. LA has 12 players signed that year for a cap hit of just over $33M. Add in Johnson and Frolov contracts and your looking at around $40M for 14 players. Even if you paid league minimum to fill the other roster spots thats close to $45M. The cap hit could be in the $47-52M range. Obviously DL will get a better idea of where the cap will be this time next yr. and Doughty's cap hit will likely be less in the next two years as he will not hit bonuses and they will not be factored in, but still it could handcuff future moves.

Ideally Gaborik takes a little less to play in LA and the team keeps everyone together for atleast next yr. Then next summer they can decide what to do with certain players like Frolov, Johnson and others.
