We saw the following backfire with us when we re-signed Stumpel and Gratton after they had pretty good seasons with us, but would it be terribly wrong if we resigned two or all of Zednik, Peltonen, and/or Dvorak?

Yup. That's the one I was asking for.

No, I've liked Pelts since he came back from injury last season, he was great. I never liked Stumpel, never did anything until the second half of the season. Zed's got good speed and Dvorak has had great chemistry with Soupy and Pelts. It depends on who's out there, I guess, and how this team finishes.

i'm interested to see who from Kitchener might want to come play for their old coach.

Hey, does anyone else feel that Frolik is trying to do a bit too much?

(I hope that posting this results in him scoring a couple of goals--thus proving what I'm an idiot I am...which would please me immensely).

Great game so far! Your guys are moving the puck through the neutral zone with tons of speed.

Thanks, it's been an incredibly fun year so far. If it wasn't for the Bouwmeester stuff, it'd be a lot more fun.

I just realized something: we haven't seen Boynton much since the first period, have we? Am I wrong?

He's still a rookie and it could be partly do to his trying to figure out what works (know what I mean?)

DeBoer's raelly had the guys pushing the play and the presence of Ballard and McCabe and their ability in the transition game to move the puck has been huge for us. Pete's given those guys a green light.

Awesome game so far. Big goal by Zednik. Finally, I saw McLean win a battle. Tarnasky is coming so close. We need a big period here from the boys.

Florida's playing great. We can't seem to get out of this funk we're in.

Panthers deserve this one.

I think we're going to get that big third period. That Flyers game seems to have done something for this team.

We know funks well...we had 8 years worth. Montreal's a great team, I friggin hate em, they won't be in this for long. Surprised it's been 4 games, though.

I like how quickly this third period is going by. When the Panthers sat back and played defensively the clock just crawled along. This is the period we've been looking for.

I like it more when Tanarsky plays instead of Stewart. Nothing against Stewy, I just think Tanarsky is the better player right now. He seems to always be around the net, and if he had a couple of different bounces, he would have 3 or 4 goals with us.

It should be 6 or 7-1 right now, Price has made some unbelievable saves.
