I like that Richardson is actually going to get a shot at playing with some decent players. Now we might be able to get an idea of what he can and cannot do.

A little into the future here. Center Ice will be having a free preview 2/16-2/22.
This is listed on DTV. Don't know if other's will also be carrying it.

Assuming we stick with the lines Hammond reported this morning, they ought to be the best they've been all season. I love the Simmonds - Handzus - Richardson line. I'm glad to see Richardson getting a shot, and also to see Handzus getting some speedy wingers to balance the line.

Chicago is coming off a big win last night. Hopefully we're not as rusty as Edmonton (Buffalo slaughtered the Oil 10-2).

i think well be ok tonight. even though chicago got a big win vs the birds, theyre tired, and probably played their ***** off last night. The kings on the other hand i think will come out determined to win. I think the all star game might have given brownie even more confidence so he pumps the team up to come out and own

I agree with you 100% This kid deserves a chance. There was a reason Dean threw down a 2nd on this guy. He had 2nd line potential at the time and all I heard from the Avs fans was that he was utilized poorly. I want to see what he can do with his speed in an offensive situation. He is built for offense, not really a small line defensive energy situation.

The Kings line-up looks good to me also.

Calder has been fairly decent lately and Richardson could be a real nice addition. Of course, when Moller returns to action the mix will probably change.

Actually, Army-Rat-JZ line has looked OK. This could be just the role for Armstrong. I know this will sound weird, but I think Ivanans is much more effective when he actually tries to play the game rather than just go for hits and fights. And Zeiler has been very good IMO. He's playing the body effectively, accepting challenges to fight and at least getting the puck "in" or "out" consistently. Maybe our fourth line can be a strength now.

Also, on DIRECTV the game is on CenterIce, channel 781, according to the system guide. Chicago station WGN is on most cable/satellite systems as a regular channel. I don't see why it would be blacked out for anyone.

Would be so very sweet to get a win tonight. We shut down their explosive offense pretty well the last time we played them. Let's hope we can do that again and keep our own offensive pace. Still gonna' be a tough one, though. We luck out everytime we play a team the following night after they've been physically abused by the Birds down the freeway.

Go Kings!

Edit: People have really underestimated Richardson this season. The kid has got a lot of talent, and is one of the fastest skaters in the NHL, believe it or not. Guy has incredible wheels. He's good defensively, as well, and kill penalties. He's just been caught up in the numbers game this season.

This game is on Center Ice tonight, no?

We are not scared! We just kinda expect to get our A#@($ handed to us in LA!

For some reason LA is a black hole from which we can not win. Sorta like how my White Sox cant ever seem to win in Oakland!

Well you guys got a good up and coming team. I think my Hawks will win tonight to snap our funk in LA!

Lets have a good game!

How Bernier and Boyle doing for Kings organization?

haha not really scared, bad word choice, but i like the respect i saw when coming over there...
Boyles having a tough time adjusting and keeps going back and forth between here and Manchester, and Berniers still got to prove himself down there before he gets his shot in the bigs.

While the Hawks are amongt one of the elite teams in the NHL, sadly, the Quings are one of the bottomfeeders.

Hawks will win 7-2

According to Murray's interview today, he should be back in the lineup within two weeks. Everyone is expecting less, but that is the estimate. He was given a recovery time of about 4-6 weeks and it is just entering into the fourth week. He said that their doctor told him that he is not 100% yet, but it is healing.

Ignore him he is a troll!

He posts anti-hawks comments on the main board and then goes to teams boards trying to act like a Hawks fan!

Yep, that's what i was thinking. Hopefully he'll have a good first shift otherwise, he may be back with Ivanans and Zeiler again.
