OBK finally broken up, I hope we stay healthy enough that the trio gets a good break from eachother.

The PK is suffering and Gordon ends up in the press box.

Uhm, okay.

If the PK doesn't look better today then its not going to get better with the current lineup.

3 full days of practice (well 2 since they took a day off) AND poti returning.

According to Tarik, Steckel is going to be the go-to guy for forwards.

I would have liked Bradley to be scratched, and Gordon be in the line-up. Detroit has a dangerous PP.

Last game for me to see for a while. Hope its a good one. I'm counting on you all to make good uodates!

Edit: can't believe Gordo is scratched as marsh mentions. Perhaps he's still not 100%?

I don't know what it has been the past couple of game. It just seems like we can't hold a box or any formation in the PK. I like being aggressive, but in those situations you gotta hold your ground a little more.
We also need to play 3 full periods, not 2 and a half.

This. Or Brashear. It's not like the Wings are going to goon it up.

Brashear and Bradley have their roles and they are not scratched. I don't think you are going to convince Bruce to scratch either of them.

I didn't think about that. Also a Steckel-Gordon-Bradley line would be decent at shutting somebody down. I think Erskine and Bradley could handle anybody on the Wings if something happened.

Does Laich-Gordon-Kozlov sound like a good 3rd line to you?

With everybody healthy Nylander will be centering a scoring line. He played well last game. I'd rather have Brashear or Bradley scratched. They haven't done anything in a while.

Agreed. I would have liked to seen both Gordo and Stecks in the line-up today.

Looking forward to see what the Russian line can do.

UGH, just realized we have a "BFF" line. I think it looks like a decent line, I just hate the initials.

Agreed. Bruce wants the boys to impose their will physically on teams, and Brash is an integral part of that plan. He may not have to fight today, but he needs to make sure there is a price paid for puck retrieval in the corners for the Wings today.

Man I wish I had comcast in my area, rather than Armstrong cable. We don't get any caps games unless they are on Versus or NHLnetwork.

I want to watch this game so badly haha.

I think that line has potential to be very good. Flash and Fehr have good shots, and Backstrom will get them the puck. I like that line a lot.

i will admit one thing....Backstorm won't force the puck to them like he does with Ovy..that could make things happen

Hopefully it'll be a wake-up call to Ovie and Backstrom. They haven't been producing that much in the past couple of games.
