He left the game because after he gave away the puck, he got leveled again on that same play. So if he bell wasn't rung enough the first time around, it is now. Maybe he wasn't quite up to coming back to begin with, but who knows..

precautions should have been taken. Gorges clearly was semi conscious after that elbow. He should have stayed out. Lucky the second hit (hopefully) caused no problems

Kings coach was complaining about the refs...thought Komo should have been thrown out...thought Higgins deserved a penalty...

Carbo: ''Maybe they don't have a video on the other side.''

It was Gorges decision to come back, Carbo didn't even know what was going on with Gorges after the hit as he had no reports. WTF? communication between coaches and medical staff anyone? Gorges told him he couldn't continue after the 2nd. ''No idea'' on if Gorges will play tomorrow, we'll see tomorrow.

That was the point I was making. No question at all, this guy suffered a concussion on the original hit, so why put him back in to exacerbate the injury?

Carbo has to settle on some lines & keep them together for several games rather than moving them around from line to line & in & out of the l pressbox!!

what the Hell was the sense to bring O'Bryne up from Hamilton to set him in the pressbox??? The kid was just getting game back together under the tutelage of Donnie Lever!!!

CANADIENS RALLY LATE TO KNOCK OFF KINGS

MONTREAL - Christopher Higgins tied it with under two minutes to play and Andrei Markov scored the power-play winner at 19:37 of the third to lead the Montreal Canadiens to a come-from-behind 4-3 victory over the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday.

What? Maybe CBC didn't have a good angle or something but from what RDS showed, it was CLEARLY over the bar to me.

Am I missing something here, why do Bruins fans care so much about our game today? You guys have the division locked up AND you played today. I don't get it.

Nah, carbo may be a tool when it comes to personnel management but he knows how to motivate and whip boys after poor performances

They'll be ready for the bruins tomorrow

I predict a 4-1 victory, something along the lines of domination

Do you know it's not a goal if you high-stick the puck into the net?

I hope he keeps Dago, Koivu, and MaxPac, until Tanguay comes back, then replace MaxPac with Tanguay

Wasn't convincing and it wasn't pretty but it is a much needed win. I can't say it made me think this team has no turned it around by any means but you take the two points.

Maxpac looked good. Koivu was the best forward by far. Most guys did pick up their play today. The only few who really seemed all but ineffective were Kovalev and somewhat Lang. Just a very questionable display by veterans. Begin to a lesser extent but thats not his role. Hammer is really struggling as is Gorges although a very gritty effort. Brisebois continues to be a bumbling idiot.

Big win but its one that you don't really feel too excited about because of the lack of fire by some players and well, its an afternoon game and they tend to give this feel.

I'd like to know who is responsible for him even returning to the bench after that hit! He was totally dizzy after the hit (rightfully so) and should NOT have been cleared to return in this game! That's terrible judgement, regardless of what Gorges may have told them! One would think that in day and age with the concussion awareness, our medical staff would be more careful with our players!

As much as they hate to admit it, they are obsessed with the Habs win or lose. I honestly believe they hate us more than we ever can hate them.

Just saw Higgins' goal.

I think Higgy pushed him down, rather than pulled him down. He had position so there was no penalty. I have to say it's awfully close though.

One of those plays that may or may not result in a penalty, just like lifting a guy's stick from behind might or might not get you a hooking call whether you touch his gloves or not. Hard call.

very dumb move on Gorges part to come back and play after getting his bell severely rung..... may be out longer now because of it....which means Breezy stays in the lineup

Oh and against the Bruins:

Higgins-Plekanec-Kostitsyn.

Bring it back.

I can't believe the number of people who though Latendresse played great tonight, maybe its because I got the Bob Cole horror show instead of The Benoit. Sure Lats maybe gave an effort, but he was atrocious any time the puck came near him. I wanna see the CAT line back in action. Latendresse belongs with Lapierre and TK.
