And once again, the smallest guy in front of the net paying the price. Paging Kovalev, Lats, Kostitsyn, Higgins. When guys watch this, don't you think they would realize that maybe they should do the same thing.

You should blame the trainers instead. No doubt he wanted to return he wants to win!

Agreed, it was stupid for him to come back.

Man, our D looks terrible now.

I can't believe the number of people who though Latendresse played great tonight, maybe its because I got the Bob Cole horror show instead of The Benoit. Sure Lats maybe gave an effort, but he was atrocious any time the puck came near him. I wanna see the CAT line back in action. Latendresse belongs with Lapierre and TK.
I agree... he played with emotion, gave the effort, but his game is not suited for Pleks and Kost...

Bring Lats and Lappy back together... WITH Kovalev... these two won't give a **** about having him on their line, they'll play their game and Kovalev will have to adjust!

And YES, bring back the CAT line...

I agree with this. CAT needs to have a comeback and so does our best line.

It was Gorges decision to come back, Carbo didn't even know what was going on with Gorges after the hit as he had no reports. WTF? communication between coaches and medical staff anyone? Gorges told him he couldn't continue after the 2nd. ''No idea'' on if Gorges will play tomorrow, we'll see tomorrow.
What did Komi do to warrant being thrown out of the game?

The onus is not on Josh Gorges as to whether he returns to the game. He received a major blow to the head. His brain would have bounced around upsetting the neural circuitry, he was not his normal self after the hit. After this type of injury, say in a fall or motor vehicle injury, it can take weeks or even months for a person to get back to normal. In short, he is the last person who should have the responsibility to decide whether he would return to the game.

Latendresse NEEDS TO SIT!

He was absolutley the worst player on the ice today.
I can't stand him, he hasn't progressed at all and why he wasn't benched after not shooting in the slot. He never wins any puck battles he dosen't hit at all and his effort stinks.
Briesbois is also a dilemma for me as well. He has been very sub par and O'Bryne sits after he got his CONFIDENCE back and played a strong game in Tampa Bay.
Its time Gainey has a one sided converstaion with Carbo and tell him that certain french players don't have more rope than the guys.
Get O'Byrne back in and bench Gui, Kovy, and Breeze bye!

I'm sure if Komi's elbow throw at Stoll would have connected he would have been thrown out but I guess you can't get thrown out for something you didn't do, right?

On a side note, Koivu was credited with the last goal in the boxscore on TSN.ca but Markov was credited in the article

Agreed with both of you. Been there, done that in at least 6 occasions and from my own experience, I would have gone back on but you're not thinking clearly. See how dizzy he was? He couldn't skate straight! Not Gorges fault. The fact that he wanted to come back speaks for his determination, but his mind wasn't clear.

At least we have O'Byrne, who seems to have his confidence back, who can step in. But with Breezer in it's always a risk.

Gorges should'nt have return but he was scared they would give more ice time to 71.
Breezbye needs to sit or take a sunny trip to Hamilton!
He is the worst dman in his own zone EVER
Bring back O'Bryne who has his confidence back and then plays a strong game in Tbay.
I guess if your not French, Carbo gives you NO ROPE!

Gui was one of the noticeable players out there.

He didn't play well but I wouldn't say he was the worst player on the ice (that would go to the extremely helpful Kyle Calder). Besides, Lats wasn't worse than Kovalev or Brisebois or Gorges (because he stupidly returned and made a crucial giveway).

How ignorant are you? Latendresse wins more battles along the boards than half of our forwards combined. Latendresse's best asset is his battling and play along the boards. It creates a lot of chances for the Lapierre line, and whichever line he is on.

They won't sit Brisebois often because they want to give him his 1000th game and his 100 000 $ bonus.

What??? Breezy gets an edge on OB because of seniority, not nationality. OB will get more opportunities, don't worry.

He had 4, count them 4, glorious chances to shoot on net with his so called great shot and he fricked uped. I noticed he went around the net after not shooting with no speed, only to lose the puck.
I agree Kovy and Breezie had terrible games too.

Can we realy say we hate the Bruins? We enjoy when they loose and we enjoy winning over them; but men do they hate us. I mean we humiliated them so much over the years, they have no other option than going into denial and hatred.

I'm sure it's been mentioned, but Price's 2 saves on Frolov breakaways (one shorthanded in the 2nd, one in the 3rd) were absolutely clutch.

Gui was adjusting to 2 new linemates. Under the circumstances, I thought he played well.
