Someone get Gordie Howe back on skates. The Canucks tried to sign him too about 12 years ago.

No way you can convince me that Bure is ready to take on that much ice time. He'd still rack up tons of points playing on the 2nd line assuming he can still fly.

I pray to the hockey gods that this is true and that he can jet around the ice like he used to. Watching my fav player of all time back in his prime was an honour and if he could do it now in a surprise return to the NHL, then thats just ****ing gold.

What, what, what? This is insane. If Foresberg changes his mind we can have a cripple fight between the two!!! I loved Bure though. To qoute Tom Larscheid,

“Pavel Bure plays with such speed that his linemates can't keep up to him. If only he could play with himself out there, that would really give the fans a show.”

"The ancient protector and team mate of Frock visits him at least in his domicile of Florida once a year. Odjick claimed to be astonished to see to what extent Pavel was in form and grows that if a team came to give him a contract, he could come back in NHL."

The questions must be asked:

What exactly are you "sick of"?

A human being wishing to re-pursue his life's passion and profession?

How exactly does that put you out?

And if someone "needs" money, do you begrudge them that opportunity?

If so why? And who are you (or me, or anyone here, for that matter) to pass judgement?

In today's NHL, he can score 25 on one knee and a crackerjack box.

Bure - Savard - Kessel on the PP in Beantown would look pretty sweet to me!

Chia if you want a winger please inquire about this guy, always wanted to see Bure in a Bruins jersey and if we could add him to our mix how much more dangerous would that line-up become.

Odjick? Lol...hitting the peace pipe too hard I guess. Bure's knee's were in pretty bad shape when he first retired and now at this age he thinks he can play again? I highly doubt Pavel tries to make a come back.

Odjick's words. I'll wait to hear what Bure will have to say. Being in great shape is one thing...but being in game shape is another story. He's fragile, probably more than ever, so it might not be wise to make a comeback. On the other hand, if there's one player I'd like to see back in the NHL, it's him!

Doesn't Bure have a really cushy, high-paying job as the general manager of the Russian national program? Why would he want to give up something like that to return?

I'd rather play hockey then be a GM any day of the week.
