he's always so happy when he scores..and when anyone else on the team scores for that matter.

Seems like a great guy.

This sucks

sadly, that isn't out of the realm of possibilities. He is still practicing hoping to get signed by a team.

that's ironic considering that Sergei Kostitsyn has looked like one this season.

Terrible news for Lang. Achilles injuries are usually tough to recover from in terms of the length of time it takes.

If I remember correctly, Teemu Selanne had an achilles severed early in his career when a skate blade went down inside his skate boot along the boards. There was some talk at the time about players wearing their socks on the outside of the skate boot instead of tucking them in.

B's fan here. I'm sorry to hear the news about Lang, I was impressed by him whenever I saw him play this year.

What?

Unless he wants to call it career, he'll be signed next season by some team.. he was our most consistent forward all season.

IS HE ALSO OUT FOR PLAYOFFS?

That really sucks, we will have to rely on Chipchura, which is fine, for our 4th line, well it will be a good test for next year

Damn. It'll suck if this really does end up being his last game of his career, we didn't even win.

We still don't know how serious the injury is, but he's probably out for the year. Young players often have problems after coming back from a severed achilles tendon. Imagine how hard it is for a 38 years old veteran now. Not only will he be coming back from an injury that might slow him down permanently (and he never was a speed demon to begin with), but he'll also be out of shape and it's a lot harder to come back in playing shape at his age. Time will tell, but he'll probably face a lot of adversity to come back to the game.
