Flames look scary, man. Even though they lost, Colorado's goaltender had to be sharp (made 39 saves out fo 42 shots). The key for the Stars is getting a lead heading into the 3rd period. Calgary has a poor record when playing behind at the 2nd intermission but have an outstanding record when leading or with the game tied.
Let's hope Turco eats his wheaties.

Piq, I 100% agree. That did not (and it hasn't looked for a while) look like the real Detroit that we've become use to.
Not that I'm sad about it or anything
Calgary is going to be tough to beat. They're going to be even more determined to not leave these 2 games without at least a point. Hopefully Turco comes ready to play.

Coming out strong is definitely key; over their last four games, the Stars have outscored the opposition 7-1 in the first period. Gotta keep that up!

Kiprusoff starting despite the back-to-back. Not going to let Turco pass him in TOI.

That'd be nice.
Though the last time we got a 3-0 lead
at home didn't turn out so well.

With a regulation win tonight, the Stars could actually be closer to the Flames in the standings rather than last place.

Lots of great games on tonight, especially ones that involve teams we're racing against.
Please win. Go Stars Go!

Anyone watch the jersey retirement of Adam Graves before the Ranger game? Wow. Great job by the Ranger organization in all of it. Awesome ceremony.

It's fun to talk about though
.
Entertaining Caps/Devils game on Vs. right now. Jersey can't seem to get out of their own zone.

Los Angeles and Ottawa still tied at 0 in the 1st period.
Really the only game with a West team going on right now.
