The Pleks we see this season is just a shadow of the Pleks we saw last season...I had hoped he would eventually get out of this funk but he just doesn't seem to have it this year for some reason.....

Wins in this game and the next two are just about essential because Pitt and Buffalo are climbing, trying to get solid playoff spots so they won't be pushovers. And then there can be no lull vs. Toronto before a scary Western road trip (ok, Flames scare me but the Avs, Oilers don't and Nucks are struggling worse than us, at home especially. But any team poses a threat to the Habs these days). It's a make or break 2-3 weeks coming up.

Better effort for the Habs tonight, hopefully they'll be able to keep it going for the full 60 minutes.

Good period by the Habs, lots of chances. They have to get more bodies in the front of the net though.

Good period.
Hopefully they won't slow down in the 2nd period like they did in the recent games.

The Pen's announcers just said that they asked Carbo who would benefit the most on the PP now that Lang is out.

Carbo's answer "Matt D'Agostini".

But he scores on his first NHL shift, just like Mario. Therefore he has to grow up to be just as good.

Wow, a period with actual skating and forechecking! Is Carbo turning over a new leaf? I doubt it, we'll be back to the 1-4 trap by the end of the game.

Can't believe they conceded another goal against a 4th line.
Must be the team in the NHL that gives the most goal to the opponent 4th line.
