The main thing is, Savard is a diver!!!

Too bad about Latendresse, hopefully he's back quickly.

Seeing as no one picked up on it.........LOL

No seriously, sucks for him and the team. I wish the roster would stay healthy. We had what? One week with a complete roster this year?

Not even. Higgins was injured early, and when he came back Laraque was having problems too.
Maybe we had 1or2 games, but that's it.

didnt miss him last night :/, sad to say but, i think hes just, too, slow, to ever be a significant , not DOMINANT, but above average NHLer

ive always liked him and continue to support him, but watching guys like pacioretty skate circles around people, and even dagos got great speed and a right handed shot that truly hasnt been uncovered yet , .. even sergeis flashes of brilliance make latendresses "good plays" look miniscule

hes been good lately, playing with lapierre, but i think its just lapierres tremendous season rubbing off on his linemates a bit, i wish latendresse ALL the best honestly, but in his absence, i sense/feel the 3 kids i mentioned are going to completely make us forget about him sadly :/

blows me away this year on all the injuries we been getting , because last year i couldnt beleive how NOBODY got hurt, NO ONE except for the freak koivu injury at the end of the year

but this year? ur talking like, 5-6 CRUCIAL players to this team, that havent gone down for 5 games with a flue or rash or whatever, this is like, seperated shoulders and torn achilles tendons for crissake!! , minimum everyons been out for over a month! even dandy broke his damn arm and got up to go block a shot the trooper

please god, STOP with the injuries

I agree with everything you said, but I still think Lats has a place in the nhl, you can't throw him under the bus at 21...if there is no room on our team for him, considering how quickly Pacioretty is developing I think we should trade him...only if there is no room because he will not develop playing 3rd-4th line grinding roles.

It looks like the food industry won't suffer from any recession after all.

What worries me most is how many other injuries can the Habs absorb before they start to really be in touble. Hard to compete when you have a bunch of unproven AHL players replacing NHL players.

No knock on any young kid, but Lang was a big loss.. What if Koivu or Higgins or Kovy get hurt? It doesn't mean that they are back that they can't get hurt again!

Why all the flippancy and black humor? It's not good for a team to lose a player to a lengthy injury. Latendresse is far from a useless player and he isn't overpaid, so the Habs can't even benefit from a bit more cap room if he's on injured reserve. It's true that his absence will give promising rookies such as Pacioretty and d'Agostini more ice time but it should be noted that both of them are minus players who have a lot to learn about defense.
