I would assume this is directly related to Avery being back on the active roster, which would put them at 24 players with Conner.

When Avery clears waivers and gets assigned, I'd assume Conner would come back up. He's not ever going to be a great NHLer, but he's definitely a servicable injury fill-in.

well to me, Brunnstrom takes Connor spot in the line and he isn't needed here at the current moment and since Brunnstrom took his spot I don't think there are any major problems with him.

Brunnstrom played last night and had 3 points (1G-2A). He's fine, and once again proving that he should be playing every night.

Piqued is right. Neal and Brunnstrom belong together. I still believe Sutherby is a waste on the 1st line. I don't think you can count on him having an Ott-like rebirth. I know they scored 10 last night, but there were 3 or 4 times Sutherby's play in the offensive zone blew quality scoring chances. Doesn't hurt in games like last night, but it will eventually.

EDIT: Ohh, you were talking about last nights injury. I forgot about that.

From Heika's blog...

Fabian Brunnstrom (ankle) skated, but still is listed as questionable for Sunday
Good to see he can skate I guess.

Considering the way he "skated" off the ice last night, I'll take it. I imagine if he's close he'll go. He probably really wants to start playing again after the long layoff.

Add into that the fear of God Tippett put in him. Mess up once, and you'll play 1 minute.
