i took a break and the team went on a roll against some good opponents so it made sense to go with random GDT's.

thnx for the support.

Yeah, yeah, if you lose this one for us we are going back to the random gdt posters.

As for the game I think Semin will have a good one. 2 goals and then he sets up Ovechkin for his 200th and 1st ever against the Kings.

The hell you say.

Please, go right ahead and take the Kings lightly. Please do.

Remember who won the Caps @ Kings game in November. Also the Kings have taken 9 out of their last possible 12 points and are currently getting some of their best goaltending in many a moon (by J.Quick).

You're aware none of the posters on this board actually play for the Caps, right? And therefore, the game will not hinge on how "lightly" these posters take the Los Angles Kings?

It would be nice to get a little revenge for the game played earlier this year in LA.

Here's to the beginning of a streak of games WITHOUT allowing a goal on the PK

The Kings are a team that gets a steady schedule break because of their location and proximity to Anaheim. They play a lot of teams on back to back games. To be fair, their location hurts them in other areas, but if you want to build some cred on the Kings win over the Caps the night after they had played in Anaheim and been physically beaten up, then you need to think again.

There is a BIG difference between playing the Capitals the night after Anaheim in LA and playing them rested in Washington.

The Kings don't stink and they beat the Caps. But, they are not nearly as good a team as the Caps are and you should know that.

Just because he is a King's fan doesn't mean he's in the pacific time zone. Moreover, he has a good point. While we are certainly not playing the game, the Capitals do need to take this game seriously. 2 points is 2 points. That being said, I am confident the Capitals will paly well tonight.

Why does it seem like people of this board have a persecution complex? If someone thinks their team has a legitimate chance of winning against our team, is there a need to call them a troll? This may be the Washington Capitals team board, but I don't think there is/should be a prerequisite (being a caps fan) to make your opinion known here.

The Kings have been playing very well lately, winning four of their last five games, in the midst of a tough road trip. Should be a good game.

Hey, I'm not the one who called your team "not good." Because your team (Caps) is good.

But the Kings have been very playing well lately. I mean, tenacious, unified play. The Kings are surprising their opponents lately. Scoring lots of goals, except for Tuesday's 1-0 shutout win over Ottawa. Don't look now, but the Kings are within striking range of a playoff spot.

I'm just sayin'.

I'm looking forward to watching this game. I don't agree about needing to make a statement or anything out of this game, but it would be nice to get some more wins against the West.

I think the Kings have surpassed the Stars in my favorite team in the Western Conference.

Wild is my West-coast fav. Can't beat those jerseys.
