Oh it would have been fun to see Rinne vs. Backstrom as they played tandem in Finland for several years..

With Belak, Tootoo and Weller out of the lineup it probally won't be the same rock'em sock'em game of the last two meetings. ... Good for Kim Johnsson as I think he's still got a stain in his britches from when Tootoo scared the cr*p out of him.

Wow....9 goals for Zidlicky? When did he learn to hit the net outside of the World Championships?

I think we can take them, emotions are riding positively and the lines are gelling. We've already won our 2 out of 3, this is just a bonus game.

Well only a few penalties and not a whole lot of shots in the first period. Can only follow the game on the NHL website as even the radio feed doesn't work for me.

WTF you doing Hammy? This ain't baseball! ugh 5 on 3.

Zanon just took one for the team, nice shot block.

Nice kill, Ellis made some good saves and some good shot blocks, and of course Minny had some errant passes. Phew!

Woot, goal!

Great backhand pass to Arnott who just skated right through the defense for the shot.

Minnesota seems to be a great team. 7 shots on goal during these 2 periods, no goal during that almost 2 min 5 on 3. Way to go. This game is over. Congratulations of the 2 points y'all!

Game ain't over yet cap'n!

Strange call, personally don't think it was boarding, both were racing for the puck.

Classic.

We held the Wild without a shot for over 23 minutes of play. They had to get a 5 on 3 to get their 5th shot of the game.....Unbelievable.

How does Boogard not get a penalty for the punch to Hamhuis? If you want to give Zanon one there as well, fine, but Boogard definitely deserved a penalty.

Yeah I thought it was something like 20 minutes... Lemaire must be a very happy man out there. ****in amazing stuff. This game is over IMO, they can't get any shots through.

Granted this is actually the first game I've seen live all season but I agree, they're pushing hard to the net and going after and digging for the puck, also putting a lot of pressure on their defense.
