You know as much about Boudreau and the Caps as you do String Theory, I'm guessing.

I hate MT as much as the next Pens fan, but I don't know if he deserves to be the worst. I'm thinking 25-27.

I agree with babcock and Trotz. Not so much McCellan because he got handed a Stanley Cup team and on the flip side Gordon has nothing to work with and has been okay.

8 T. McLellan (San Jose)
12 R. Wilson (Toronto)
So by your logic, the difference between a 4th-5th seed in the West and a President's Trophy challenging record setting team is four spots on your rankings...

Interesting.

I'm not trying to knock Babcock or anything, but a monkey could coach the Red Wings and still have success.

I think he's getting a little more credit than he probably deserves.

Couldn't a monkey coach most of the teams Scotty Bowman had and have success?

I would say it should be more like you are hinting at BUT the Sharks did some nice moves in the offseason, mainly Dan Boyle who they surely needed coupled with the fact that Wilson has done a great job with the Leafs.

We are really splitting hairs and like I said my word isnt golden I just want to get the debate going.

Make a list and move him up, but who you moving down etc. Its a tricky debate and thats what I want to see get ironed out.

Possibly but we have seen teams like the Pens with all the talent in the world fall on their faces. Some times coaching talent is harder than coaching scrubs. This draws me to my own team, Oilers, and MacT was a decent coach when we had nothing to work with but an okay 1st line and grinders. When we loaded up on more skilled players the wheels have really fellen off.

1. Gordon Bombay
2. the rest

LMAO at all the people putting Carbonneau out of the top ten, when his team has been top 10 in the league two years running when everybody though the Habs would settle at the bottom of the standings... yeah, nice leap of logic. He probably didn't earn his nomination to the Jack Adams.

And lol at the Laffs fan who put Wilson in the top 10.

He also coached a much less talented Mighty Ducks squad to the Stanley Cup finals.

Well that was sort of my feelings. I really like what Carbs is doing and originally had him ranked at #5 but when a Habs fan came on and said Carbs in the top 10 was a joke I adjusted.

I do disagree on Wilson though. Look at the leafs team and tell me any other coach who could have them anything but dead last... though I am not sure if this is good or bad for leafs fans.

Dude, your Caps hate is epic. I am impressed that it can blind you that much. Boudreau takes over a team in last place last USA Thanksgiving and has I believe the best record in the NHL since then and he sucks?? LOL.
