Ticket advices / Buffalo Feb 6?

If I were to drive down tomorrow after work, would I be able to get good lower bowl seats from a scalper for a decent price, say $100-$150 for a pair? Never been to HSBC so I have no idea what to expect.

I would have posted over on the Buffalo board but the last time I posted on another teams board for this kind of info I didn't get any help, just lots of rude advice (although, granted, it was the B's board and some of those guys aren't exactly known for high brow-ed-ness).

Tomorrows game is considered a platinum game so face value on tickets in lower bowl are quite high. However watching a bit of the Sabres-Leafs game last night I noticed empty seats in the lower bowl corners, so you might be able to get tickets for cheap from the scalpers near game time. You can also look on Craigslist for tickets. This is how I got a pair of good lower bowl tickets for like $200/pair (6 rows up from players benches) to a game last year. My advice is check out craigslist/Kijiji first, even from hamilton or St. Catharines (lots of seasons ticket holders from this area).

As of last night, there were ~1000 tickets left for tomorrow's game, but there's no guarantee you will be able to find 2 in the lower bowl next to each other at the ticket office. As for $150 for the pair in the lower bowl, I wouldn't count on it. I know the face value in the 300 level for a ticket is around $90, but you never know.

Try a few Craigslist ads.

If you're not really concerned about being in the lower bowl, this is $100 for the pair.

Anyway, good luck and have a good time at the game!

hey,
if your interested i have 2 seats together in section 105 row 9. ( Its right near centre ice behind the players bench) I'm not a season ticket holder and paid 300$ for the pair (214 each face value). I know its out of the range you were looking for but im willing to lose 50$ on them and sell $250. They also come with 20 buffalo sabres dollars. Let me know if you are interested.

I live in St. Catharines.
