Moore is conscious

I'm listening to the Avs post game show right now:

The Avs radio color analyst Norm Jones is stating that preliminary reports show that Steve Moore was conscious in the Avs locker room prior to being taken to the hospital. Moore reportedly has feeling in all extremities.

Very good news to hear. Thanks for passing that along. I was hoping to hear something positive before heading to bed tonight. Best of luck to him for a full and speedy recovery.

I hope Bertuzzi forfeits half his salary for Moore's medical bills or something.

I hope his career doesn't end. (Both of them)

He was conscious when they carried him off. They showed him talking to the trainers. One thing I saw, was that his lip was cut and it looked like he had a visor cut... maybe a broken nose... hopefully that's all.

That's great to hear.

It's odd knowing Steve Moore went to the hospital where my parents both work..it's just a few minutes from GM Place...he's lucky it's so close to the stadium too.

Glad to hear Moore is doing better.

Since the other thread got locked, can someone link me to a video clip from a site other than TSN? Every time I try to load a video clip from their site it just hangs my browser, even though I have the media player, etc. I was exhausted from travelling last night and couldn't stay awake through the third period so I missed the incident in question...

Thanks.

Moore Has Neck Injury

Two of his vertabraes are cracked. This is awful news, just terrible. He does have full movement though which is very good news.

Why oh why Bertuzzi couldn't you have just given Moore a good clean hard bodycheck, knock the wind out of the guy and call it a night?!?

Maybe I'm overracting here but I think this is the end of the Vancouver Canucks this season. The lockerroom must be in a shambles.

Bertuzzi has to be traded. I would think the locker room has lost all respect for the guy. I thought he was a great player. I hope the league makes an example of him and suspends him for the rest of the year (including po's)!!!!!! Get better soon moore!

Holy crap. There's no way the league can allow him to play this season now. No way. Damn, poor Moore.

I'm not defending Bertuzzi here... far from it... but he's got to be in an emotional mess right now... there is no way he wanted it to go this far... I just can't stop thinking of Bertuzzi's kid... (one I know of)... How can one move on from something like this...?

Who gives a rat's ass about bumtuzzi right now? It matters very little that he didn't want it to go this far--because regardless of how he feels, it DID go this far and it is ALL his fault.
