The team played well overall.

Price let in some bad goals
Kovalev had a terrible 3rd period
Markov and Komisarek made a few mistakes which lead to a goal

We deserved better in this one but oh well, Miller was the difference, 35 saves.

His own player barely hit him. If that kind of contact sent Rivet flying like that, he wouldn't be in the NHL.

This team puts in 20 minutes effort every game and that is it. We're not going anywhere, we have an idiotic coach. We have Alexei ****ing Kovalev, the biggest idiot on the face of the earth since Guy Carbonneau and we just don't have what it takes. Beating that joke of a franchise Pittsburgh didn't suddenly make things better. We are just not that good. Deal.
Why are you bashing Carbo...aren't you a supporter?

The 3rd goal was because Komisarek gets nervous and handles the puck like a 6 year old any time he is pressured.

and game.
How was he weak on two goals? Second and third were valid goals and the first might of been deflect but at the very least screened. It seems any goal the other team scores is the goalies fault.

If you can see the issue with this team is scoring, wake up. We don't generate good offensive chances and expect Price to steal every game.

It all goes back to goaltending. Carey needs to fix whatever his problem is...since coming back from his injury he's given up like 10 weak goals in 7 games and he is dropping early on wayyyy too many shots.

You go in Buffalo and outshoot them 36-22 you should win 95% of the time.

Someone needs to tell Gorges that if he's going to start shooting on the PP, to maybe keep it down, oh, say about 6 feet....

He almost killed Dagger.

and more than once he was rifling them at head height at the net.

Am I the only one to think the Sabres played like crap too? They got the bounces and the calls, we didn't.

While I agree with your general premise, the first goal was the definition of weak.

It's Harry, the bipolar Habs fan, folks! Go ahead, he won't bite.

Seriously, though, I hate Kovalev.

I know they called tripping but even if you slash a stick "with force" it's still a penalty. There was no reason for Kovalev to come down with two hands on his stick like that. None whatsoever. He made it easy for the ref.

It's easy to be a smartass and say trade Kovalev, but he is still our most skilled forward and he's as productive as any of them. Kovy just needs to try and do less instead of more.

What about Komisarek's bonehead pass that Connelly scores on?

Quit blaming Price, this team is awful in front of him right now...especially Kovalev who isn't skating, is losing pucks left and right and is taking bad penalties all the time.

I'm Carbo I bench Kovy.

Gino Odjick could replace him for all I care. He's a bigger distraction than he's worth. ****, I'd trade Kovalev straight up for Avery at this point.

How the hell is that possible.

Kovalev is a terrible example for the young players. I was done with this guy in November. Now he's just physically painful to watch.

Price has let in 3 goals on 21 shots. Not good enough.

He's not the only one to blame, but he must get better.

Wow, you guys are tough, the Habs just didn't get the bounces, they outplayed the Sabres overall...I blame this loss on Miller outplaying Price, nothing else....
