Messier takes the reins next year.
That's actually not all that far fetched.

Messier should eventually become the coach of this team. You know he would be PISSED after something like this. He'd be a hell of a lot better of a motivator than Renney.

There have been so many POTY nominees tonight. Add this one to the list. I'm glad some Ranger fans can still be light hearted after this. I feel bad for some others who take themselves way too seriously and can't see the humor in all this.

Trust me, it's not life and death.

But but... our record is so much better than the last 2 years at this time!!! We're an awesome team!!

</sarcasm>

Rangers had an easy schedule early on, in fact it was the easiest on hockey rodent's schedule difficulty up until a few weeks ago.

The gameplan is effed. He's lost the team. And it's pretty freakin' clear that the momentum is heading dooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwn. CLASSIC example where the coach needs to go.
The gameplan is ****ed? Why is it the gameplan that's ****ed, and not the players ****ing the gameplan?

My fear is that Renney is the only one fired and it's not Sather who goes behind the bench, but Pearn who gets promoted to interim coach.

Though, that would surely lead to a good pick...

Absolutely friggin hilarious.

All I can do is laugh tonight. When we give up 15 to the Debbies on Monday, it won't be as easy, but there's nothing else to do but laugh...and drink several Yuenglings.

Maybe that would've woken some overpaid overconfident people up a little bit. I'm sure it would've been loud enough to keep them awake for weeks.

You guys don't get it do you. This blowout was done purposely on the part of the Rangers. Renney wanted to send Prucha a message of what happens if the whole team "lacks conditioning" like Prucha does. This is why he is benched, so we don't lose 10-2 every night.

And was I the only one rooting for goal #11? If you go down, go down in style.

I hope I wake up to something good tomorrow morning.

And it better not be the triumphant return of Dmitri Kalinin.

Agreed.

Seriously though, no one should be worried. Our front office has everything under control, as shown below.......

Hopefully that message hit home for Prucha.

I think it did. And all the Prucha supporters. That'll teach him.

Oddly enough, isn't it half the team that only plays 20-30min a night where Prucha gives a full 60min effort. These "Renney-isms" are confusing.

Nothing will happen, oh no whipping boy Prucha or Dawes will get the wrath. Sather won't be fired, he's got a job for life because Dolan's an idiot. Sather likes Renney he will not fire him. We have no cap room to make changes, and no one wants our high priced garbage, it's like the Knicks from a few years ago with all those bad contracts, that's what's happening to us, we're gonna be an "ok" team until we rid ourselves of all these contracts.

You realize that Prucha will play the next game at the expense of someone like Korpikoski, who actually showed effort...not one of the overpaid centers, or the useless Orr, whose sole purpose tonight was to act as some kind of detriment, which never occurred, or the even more useless update of Marcel Hossa/Brad Isbister/Jeff Toms.
