Wow. How did Eriksson miss that one? Wide open net.

This is true.

I'd still like another d-man because of the possibility of injury, even with Fistric apparently remembering how to play hockey in the AHL. But the improvement of the defense would need to come from limiting the ice time of certain mistake-prone players.

It looks like Lehtinen and Ott's point streaks are about to come to an end, but they were both big parts of the 5-on-3 goal, so that line continues to roll merrily along. Edit: Aaaaand the EN takes care of both of these.

Edit: And to Sydor's credit, he's been somewhat better recently (or has Niskanen just got better at covering for him?). But he's still by far the weakest link out there.

Ott seals it with the empty netter. Blue collar victory this time.

You know, the Stars would have lost this game by at least three earlier in the season. Turco would have given up one of the early ones, and the offense would never have come through with the key goals when they did.

This team is really pulling it together. I think every month should be renamed February.

13-2-1 in our last 16 home games

The AAC is a fortress for the Dallas Stars

STARS WIN!

Pretty boring game overall...but it's 2 points, and we'll take any points we can get.

11-1-1 in our last 13 at home. 7 of our last 8. And the train just keeps on rolling along.

Dallas pulls it off again, 4-1. See y'all Wednesday!

Well, after their best win of the season, pretty much anything was going to pale in comparison. Still, that was seriously ugly.

Nashville definitely outworked the Stars, but at the same time, that's not the be-all and end-all, since the Preds are so deficient in the talent department. Since I like to randomly speculate, if they still have Radulov, that's a game they win.

Anyway... take the 2 points and play better next time.

As long as they keep this up, we'll be fine for the playoffs. It's great to finally see them getting their game back up to scratch.

100% agree.

Awesome job to pull this out.

Was extremely proud of the PK today.

Nashville outworks the opposition every time I see them play. I 100% believe Barry Trotz is the best coach by far in the NHL because he gets his team ready to play for every single game.

The fact that Dallas battled right back on the boards really pleases me - in the past Nashville would dominate the boards and win this game 2 or 3 to 1.

And if the Stars had Morrow and Zubov?

4 out of 6 points in 3 games in 4 days. I'll take it.

Now get 2 days and rest up for another long week coming up.

if the Stars go 19-11 down the stretch, they'll have the exact same record as they did last season

who would have thought that was possible after the start they had..

Wow.

I'll take that.

Not that it has anything to do with anything, but the lady in the studio for FSN needs to never do a Stars game again .

She struggled right up until they went off the air. Wow.
