Modano confirmed on a radio interview last week he would definetly be back for next season, and even consider playing 1-2 more after that.

Pretty boring period.

Hutchinson with a good chance.

Daley and some good scrambling from Turco there helped make up for the odd puckhandling by Turco in the first place.

... there was an article in the paper about the Dallas Stars D-core being "excellent"?

the other option (I think) would be signing a decent UFA forward (for around 2-3 million) to play on the wing with Richards.
I was thinking Benn would be called up for an injury then stay because of his play. So he'd fill in for a banged up Lehtinen then once he's healthy stay in the lineup. I'd be very surprised if he earned a spot out of training camp but anything is possible.

As for Lundqvist I just think for the money I'd rather have Sutherby or failing that Sawada provides the same play for the money and is younger, plus he'd be one of the few right wing, right shots on the club. Besides, if you're him, would you re-sign in Dallas to play on the forth line when he could probably move to another team and at least play a more significant checking roll. Somewhere out east so he's in New York more often and can see/play against his brother.

Good job Turco to cover that.

Arnott was just waiting for it.

The Predators' scoring chances must double the Stars' right now. I hope Dallas isn't resting on this lead.

Alistar - there was an improvement about the d-corps finally managing to find some semblance of chemistry.

Is there a debate about this? The only question might be is Weber superior to Green, not Phaneuf.

Beautiful goal there for the Preds. They deserved that, Stars aren't even remotely in this game.
