Carbonneau hangs Price out to dry in his post-game press conference.

What were the shots after the first period, Guy? Most of the team wasn't prepared to battle tonight. It's the coach's job to have them ready.

his hands are tied likely especially do to the 100 anniversary. however he plays a huge role in why this team continues to be average. Last year appears to be a blip on the radar.

too many teams think they can make the playoffs no deals to be made. i wonder if carbo and gainey would be bold enough to just waive divalev. it's one thing to be playing crappy, it's quite another to have no effort

I think we're going to win as well, we're 7-1-1 against western teams and I think there's a better chance that the team will come together during the trip rather than fall apart.

and why does Kovalev get almost 22 minutes of ice time, when he absolutely looks like crap out there?

Grow some balls Carbonneau.
3 good periods would be nice, and less fancy play. I would reverse the ice time for the lines.....start the next game with the 4th line facing off. I want to see some simple hockey...get in someone in front on the net, shoot, repeat. They have to work on the defensive zone breakouts as well! A power play quarterback would be ideal as well. Can’t blame it all on Price…..he played bad this game, but they should have won last night! Maybe a long road trip will help them focus a bit…..get them far away from Montreal, and family etc so they can work on their game. I know they have been bad on the road, but I think this long trip might actually help them. Lets go Habs! Still a great team.....just keep plugging away and finish this year strong.

I have faith in Jesus Price and the rest of them....

Its the whole team guys, not just Price or Kovalev or Bouillon etc etc. Everyone is going to have to step up their game if we are going to turn it around. Now is the time when everyone needs to pull together not separate and start poiniting fingers. We need to simplify our game on the road, play tight defensively and support our goalies. Its going to be a tough tough road trip

Everyone can quit talking smack, about the backup, Halak.
The team in front, has stunk like crap
and it's the tenders who take the rap.
Carbonneau has got to go, rolling 4 lines
like they're ******* Rollos.

well he is 21 playing goalie for the montreal canadiens. there is no player in the nhl that has pressure like him.

seriously hes gone from jesus price to bust in 1 year to some people

expectations are too high on him and the team right now

Flames aren't taking anyone for granted right now. They're on a big losing streak of their own. I'm going to have a bird's eye view of the battle of 2 ****** teams on Monday. $200 well wasted.

gainey has to look at LA and chicago...yes our young guys probably aren't as good, but he has to hand this team over to the young guys and that's that. too many guys standing around waiting for koivu and kovaleft to do something

Maybe the Habs should hire some cheerleaders. It would be better to watch some T&A than this garbage team.

We have every ****ing right to point fingers. Price has been god awful, Kovy may as well lay down on the ice when he's out there and our D is garbage.

Hab fans need to do what the Bruins fans did. Stop going to the games. That will force Bob "The Turtle" Gainey to do something.

most of those wins were at home no? when we were playing poorly but finding ways to win.

now were are playing even worse and losing and going on the road.

despite some of my comments here im very optimistic before a game. but its really hard to see how they will have any success on this upcoming road trip.

everyone knows we cant play the physical game and well thats all we will be seeing for the next little while.

at the same time i think it is best this team is going faaar away from montreal right now. they prolly dont wanna see and hear what will be said about them the next few days

it's fine that kovalev sucks, but what's worse is he's making everyone worse. He's like a blackhole sucking his linemate's skill. Every line he's been on this year has sucked. plekanec is playing like a girl, ak46 seems to not care, and I read there's been a riff between koivu and kovalev in the dressing room.

bouillon and gorges were a combined -7 between the 2. That is one ****** poor D pairing. I think bouillon's been a minus in 8 of his last 10 games or something. komisarek is obviously sick right now, he has a touch of kovalitis, as he keeps giving the puck away.

it's time to see what Halak can bring.

from forward, to defense, to goal, I've never seen this team suck so bad with this much talent. I remember the dark years when petrov, zholtok were our leading scorers, but I'd gladly take that team over this team right now. no heart, no leadership, no toughness, no coaching, no managing. nothing is working now......BG better do something to save the season, because the fix isn't coming internally this year.
