MT. RUSHMORE Gomez/Drury statues under construction

http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/sport...ory?id=3879785

this stupid gimmick ESPN has been running is only made stupider by the fact that Drury was selected for Connecticut and Gomez for Alaska.

REALLY??? The state of Connecticut just lost a lot of credibility. How could hockey fans vote him ahead of Leetch who was also eligible. O wow he was a little leaguer. Trivia: besides Danny Almonte, who has ever played little league in NY. My Answer: I have no freakin' clue nor do I care

Gomez should have been taken off the ballot in favor of Dubinsky

So Dubinsky, who has accomplished little at the NHL level should be there in place of Gomez, a Rookie of the Year 2 time All-Star and 2 time Stanley Cup winner. That totally makes sense to me...

Maybe they just went with the ACTIVE player ,its not a big deal i dont think leetch cares about a statue being built of him anyway he's proven himself enough and if he wanted he'd get the rangers to build him one

I thought their contracts were under re-construction.
