It's past 3pm, are all the big trades announced? Or is it possible that they're just wainting to be confirmed?

Some could be waiting for league approval.

He's just a rental. He'll be baaaaack

I was hoping the Sabres would get him. He's still a good depth dman and a good guy in the lockerroom.

Solid trade experienced and great locker room guy.. Well liked by his teammates. Provides some good depth, and well needed leadership. Minor trade but one of those ones that should pay off nice.

You're going to find out very quickly what the slow-skating, zero-emotion Bergevin will bring to Vancouver: jokes and card tricks for the bus. He should've retired two years ago. He's worthless, even in Pittsburgh for cryin out loud. I don't know *which* draft pick pittsburgh got, but if it's lower than 5th, Vancouver got hosed.

There is no way in hell Bergevin will be able to keep up with any of the more potent forwards in the WC. If anything he will be a liability. Maybe they just plan to keep him on hand as a healthy scratch in case someone gets hurt....

Ask Brooks Orpik if he thinks Bergevin is worthless, Orpik give Bergie a huge amount of credit for helping him settle into the league and learn to be a smarter player.

He might not be the best player anymore but he still has a huge amount of value as a teacher and team guy.

7th round pick, that's worth it for the card tricks alone
