I read he was sick yesterday, hence why he didn't play.

Price needs a break.

Price needs a break and Halak needs a start. Good decision.

Well, if Halak is still sick, I'm not sure he should be between the pipes either. If he was healthy I would be 100% behind him!

Since I'm going to the game tomorrow and while I wish I could have seen Price play, I really can't argue with the decision to play Halak. Perhaps this song will best sum up my feelings:

Not in some gay way of course....not that there's anything wrong with that.

I've got no problem with this. Give Carey a few days of hard work in practice and let him regroup. Hopefully Halak is ready to go and gives us the strong effort we need.

Its not the d's fault that Price can't stop a beach ball. They did a fine job in allowing Price to see the puck and all the leafs shots were from the outside.

I have a friend who knows the grilfriend of Josh Gorges. I asked her to get a message to Carey Price through Josh - that is to go back t o his white pads.

But seriously, I did ask, dunno if it'll happen though.

I don't think Price should be playing, I was peed-off he was put into action last night because he looks tired and because of Halak's sickness he was put into action.

I'm saying Montreal will do no better with Halak in net if the players on the roster sheet don't play in front of him.

As long as Price won't be able to block high shots on his glove side, he won't succeed in this league. He is one of the worst that I've seen in years.

Halak alone won't be able to do it. You need a whole team effort. And maybe a trade or two to get rid of Kovy and get a reliable d-man.

O'brien and Burrows would certainly give balls to this team.

Could Halak cease the chance to be number #1??????????

I always thought Halak was a great goalie, but no-one really gives the kid any hope with the almighty Price that's destined to bring a cup to Montreal.

Halak is a diamond in the rough and starting tonight with a big doughnut he will slowly start taking over the duties as Montreal's netminder of the future.

Montreal 2
Calgary 0

Montreal 3
Emonton 0

Montreal 1
Colorado 0

Montreal 4
Vancouver 1

Sundin will break his streak. Price will be in net for Washington and we'll get killed 8-2.

HALAK! HALAK ! HALAK!!!!!!!

JARO is THE MAN!!!!!!!

will the team show up tonight or will Halak face 18 shots in the first period? The last habs win in Calgary was 7 years ago.

Carbo should play the hot goalie until they run cold.
