check out Andy Rogers.... the kid was under 3 in the 60 and under 6 in the 180.. even more impressive his slap shot was in the upper 90's.. 96.6!!!

he is a 6'5 205 pound defenseman... guy looks like a frail but those are not numbers you balk at.. edge or anyone with some insight give us the scoop on this kid.. why is he not being mentioned?

because skills competitions are possibly the most widely misleading judgement of prospects out there.

Take a kid like Ladd, his numbers don't reflect what he brings to the table. For the same reason why a guy like Adam Graves wouldnt score well either.

As for Rogers he is def. a work in progress. The reason why he isnt mentioned as high is because there are alot of other big, rangey, unpolished defenseman in north america who are just better at this stage then him.

In a message i put on here a while back i talked about how there seems to be a lot of tall, not exceptionally physical, raw defenseman in this years draft.

Rogers, though not lacking potential, falls into the same category.

Mike Green's numbers are the best out of all the D-men, check out his skating & puck skills #'s
