If those quotes were not taking out of context, either May has been punched in he face too often and is no longer capable of thinking straight, or has not gotten his head around how to speak "hockey interview"- where you spew out a string of non-commital cliches.
Guy was a player who could get under your skin, but he wasn't even close to being a dirty player. May did take a beat down again on Saturday didn't he ?
Now who in the world does May pander to with that kind of whiny bs? A whole bunch of us grew up watching him do his shtick in Buffalo. That old bully got beat up and he deserved it. What an ass.
Brad May was the first player brought in by Burke to send a message that he wanted the team to play tough. In May's first game he ran around after EVERYONE, big or small, trying to intimidate them. He fought Boullion. Cube only stepped up cause thats the type of player he is. BGL would never ask a guy like Boullion to fight it's against his code. May bills himself as a heavyweight, and props to him for dropping them but I think BGL took 2 month of complete frustration our on his ass. At the end of the fight I like how May is looking to the linesman for reassurance that he got some punches in.... sorry Brad you didn't.
As for Carbo's toughness... I'm pretty sure he didn't come out of the womb looking THAT ugly.
Brad May's highlight of his career was in Buffalo with May Day. Now, he's useless and a hypocrite. He's been sent out by his coach to fight, or set a tone.
May is just mad that he could owned, but what did you expect, from Laraque against him ?
I laugh how Bruins fans think being in first this year some how erases the fact we have completely owned their franchise over their lifetime. I mean even when they are number 1 seed or number 2 in the last few years we still beat them. I would so love to meet them in the playoffs again this year. That is if they can beat whoever is in the 8 spot.

The way we are playing, we could end up 8th and beat them again.
May-Day thought Carbo was using intimidation tactics by putting George outthere but BGL can hardly skate, he cannot follow the play, more than that he refuses to intimidate other than fighting other goons so it's useless.
