I think the top 4 are fairly well set, and I actually like all 4 bottom teams to make to make the playoffs with positions being interchangeable. If I had to pick a wild card, i'd take CBJ possibly replacing Vancouver..

Not a whole lot of thinking behind what I put where...only thing I really cared about was I want to see a SJ/Anaheim series.

+1, and the Stars fan in me would be thrilled that Chicago's high-profile return to the postseason is against Dallas.

I'd be lying if I said it wouldn't be bittersweet if the Stars won, though, as I really want the Hawks to do well, and return to glory.

A Stars-Hawks conference final would be just fine.

Perhaps Campbell would be so kind as to pass our players the puck in the slot some more.

I'd also love to see a Hawks/Stars series, as well as a Wings/Stars series, and Sharks/Stars series. If the Stars somehow manage to make to the Finals this season, I want them to have the hardest path possible.

Ditto.

The Stars proved their worth last year, taking out two of the top three seeds and making the Wings sweat a little near the end of the WCF.

I'd rather this year's playoff run be......coastier, lol

You're an idiot if you think 'coastier' is a word. Hey, it's been a while.

But, yeah, I agree. I could care less how the Stars were to get there as long as they do.

Nope, I'm going to treat the team like a child until they start winning their division. Punishment!

Plus I just think it would be that much sweeter if they overtook the powerhouses of the West to get to the Cup. Maybe it's the romantic in me?

1. San Jose
2. Detroit
3. Calgary
4. Chicago
5. Dallas
6. Minnesota
7. Vancouver
8. Columbus/Los Angles

Anaheim will be on the outside looking in and if Columbus gets healthy it's them otherwise LA snags the last spot.

I don't know how I feel about a date with Chicago they've whipped us the last few times we played but hopefully now we're a completely different team. We'll see. I just hope they don't do something stupid like trade away the future at the deadline.

I like the bold pick of the Wild at #3.

My top 8:

1. Detroit
2. San Jose
3. Minnesota
4. Chicago
5. Dallas
6. Calgary
7. Anaheim
8. Phoenix

Pacific with 4 teams in. Next year we go for all 5.

Bold, but definitely possible. Though, is that counter productive to creating parity in the league?
