Sean O'Donnell

What would it take to get Sean O'Donnell at the trade deadline, a 3rd? This guy would fit on any top 6 in the NHL. Solid playoff type defensmen.

I don't think a 3rd would do it, since the Kings would have to send a 3rd to Anaheim if OD was traded this season.

if the Kings trade O' Donnell then they have to give the Ducks a 3rd round pick..so it would cost atleast a 2nd and a prospect.

At the very minimum a 2nd.

I really don't see OD being moved. The players that are the most logical for trades, such as Calder, Armstrong and OD are playing well in their respective roles right now and provide some veteran leadership. I'm not expecting Lombardi to be active at the deadline unless we nose dive in the next couple of weeks.

Priessing is available but has vertigo, isn't playing and likely won't find any takers.

Although, I tend to agree with you to a point, I do think O'D and others can be moved because we have others that can fill the void.

If the price is right, any and all the players that you've forementioned can and will get moved imo.

He is too valuable to the Kings for

1. A playoff push
2. A mentor for the pups
3. A solid Veteran presence

The fact if he is traded the Kings lose a 3rd hurts the trade scenario.

Would you take Shaone Morrisonn?

He's a legit top 4 dman with good size. He's 26 and will be an RFA at the end of the season. Current salary is $1.9 million.
