another home game, hopefully another win

Phoenix may be playing really bad lately, but the fact is they always give us a tough game. I expect a close, hard fought contest between the two.

you can hate Sydor all you want but when he was crawling on the ice that was epic.

Even the goal horn sounded better at Reunion.

I want to say that Sydor was one of my favorite players during his first go round. Because he was good.

The 98/99/00 teams were just so perfectly constructed imo. You've got one of the top goalies in the league, two elite defensive pairings, two top scoring lines and possibly the best checking line in the game at the time. When you combine a great team like that with a great coach and an intense atmosphere at reunion you get some highly entertaining and very memorable games.

yep he's there screening Roy in the 2nd one. That video might be my fav of the bunch just because of that wicked shot by Hull.

Rangers picking up right where they left off, down 2-0 to the Devils to start the 3rd.

Man that team is terrible. They have less scoring than some of our old teams. They need a trade and bad, too bad all the guys who need trading are overpaid.

In response to Tango's posting of Stars goodness I thought I'd add my favorite playoff Nieuwy goal...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E8LYizMLre4

Having recently moved to Phoenix from Dallas I will say the Yotes have been a fairly interesting team to watch this year...one night you see the great potential and the next you wonder how they were flirting with the playoffs this year.
